Warrant Officer Ranks
A Warrant Officer is defined as: A Crewman or Non-Commissioned Officer granted the powers and
privileges of a Commissioned Officers rank for
superb scientific or tactical skills. This
quasi-officer rank is granted only by a Fleet
Commander, or any other member of the Admiralty.
Though officially still a noncommissioned officer,
they are given the respect and responsibility of a
commissioned officer with the same number of full
pips. |
