Mainly used in a direct fire support role, the MWP
can also be used (with appropriate sensors) in a point
air defense role. The base platform is also used for
casualty evacuation and resupply missions away from
landing zones. The small size of the MWP allows it
to fit into all Marine Shuttles and Runabouts. (1
in a Trojan Assault Shuttle, and up to max of 3 in
a Tarawa Runabout) as well as it fitting onto all
standard Cargo and 8 man transporters.
It has a maximum speed of 80 MPH/128 KPH over level
terrain with a mounted weapon, or 100 MPH/160KPH for
the base platform unloaded. It purely a surface craft..
with minimal elevation.
