Ferengi |
Ferengis are
humanoid. Ferengi ears have evolved to become more receptive
to sound, becoming larger. Ferengi ears are also among the
most erogenous zones of the body. Fondling the lobes is known
as oo-mox and is quite pleasurable
The Ferengi Rules of Acquisition are a listing
of 285 Rules outlining the principles, ideas, and policies
of the Ferengi outlining the acquisition of profit. The

Founder |
Little is
known about this strange race. They call themselves Changelings,
a name adopted from others' use. The Changelings are the highest
order in a Gamma Quadrant faction known as the Dominion
Within the Dominion, the Changelings are known as "The Founders"
These gelatinous beings exist in a great link, combining in
totality to form a large liquefied area resembling a lake
where they share a collective memory. No Changeling has ever
been known to harm another.
They have no sense of smell. Scans of a morphed Changeling
merely read as the object being modeled would normally. The
best test of a Changeling is through a simple blood sample;
once separated from the body, a small amount will quickly
turn back to its natural state.

Organians |
The Organians
were humanoid once several hundred thousand years ago, but
they evolved into near omnipotent beings. They maintain a
guise of a primitive, peaceful, agrarian people for the benefit
of visitors and were considered to be just as they appeared
until they made their existence known in 2267. They displayed
just how powerful they could be collectively by disarming
a Federation starship and a small Klingon invasion fleet.
They imposed a treaty between the Federation
and the Klingon Empire because they detest violence and
there world is along the border and along a strategic corridor.
The treaty they imposed established the neutral zone. They
predicted the Federation-Klingon detente by at least 40
years.

Jem'Hadar |
The Jem'Hadar
are a dangerous genetically engineered race from the Gamma
quadrant. Created and controlled by a race of shape-shifters
known as the Founders, the Jem'Hadar are a race of warriors
possessing absolute loyalty to their creators.
The Jem'Hadar take great pleasure in fighting other races
and actually look forward to it. As a result, they are the
most feared members of the Dominion, if not the entire Gamma
quadrant and indeed much of the Alpha.

will fight to the death.

Nausiccan
|
Tall, surly,
ill-tempered humanoids from some unknown planet in deep space.
After 60 years of contacts between the Nausicaans, there is
still little known about them.
They have scattered outposts on the borders
of the Federation near Ferengi space, leading to the theory
that their homeworld is somewhere in their sphere of influence.
Nausicaans are generally very inhospitable with vaguely
lizardlike faces and have attacked people with little provokation

Orion
|
Green skinned
humanoid race. Renowned merchants and members of the
Federation, they maintained a black market in female slaves
until a crackdown in the 2270's. The Orion black market was
also known for Dilithium crystals and rare minerals raided
from the Coridan system.
This was stopped with Coridan's admission to the Federation
in 2267. The Orion black market ceased to exist around 2280
with Federation interruption of all their goods. The Orions
are also known for the Issik, a common currency that originated
on Rigel VII. The fact that humanoid life could not arise
anywhere in the Rigel system, the common belief is that the
Orion race as we know it is a lost colony of another people,
who terraformed Rigel VII and transplanted some animal and
plant life.

Pakled
|
A rotund,
lethargic scavenger race who nonetheless are not as simple
as they seem: their "found" technology has accelerated their
abilities at a far faster rate than their understanding and
maturity can apparently handle. Little known to the Federation,
the Pakleds have met at least the Romulans, Klingons and Jarada.
Their most striking features, aside from
size, are bushy upswept brows, heavily bagged eyes and a
"dewlap" bottom lip. A trader ship of Pakleds retrieved
Lore from his purgatory of floating in space some two years
after Data threw him into a transporter beam to end their
first encounter.

Q |
The Q are extradimensional
entities with unlimited powers. A Q can assume any shape,
any phenomena, and even manipulate the space/time continuum
itself if he so desired. It is speculated that they can harness
immense amounts of energy and manipulate them through thought
alone. The Q originally existed in an extra dimensional universe,
known as the Q Continuum, but can switch between dimensions
at will.
Every Q is called just that, "Q", but one entity in
particular has made it a point to amuse himself with the Federation
comes to mind most often. The Q don't intentionally inflict
harm on other life, though they may interfere and become a
major distraction. Their eternal lifespan probably is what
instilled the Q with a quirky sense of humor and an unshakable
sense of superiority.
