Jerral was born in the capital city on Betazed. His father died when he was two, and his mother raised him by herself from that point forward. Due to the demands of his job, he isn’t currently married, not that he wouldn’t mind a wife someday.

Standard primary and secondary education, prior to enlisting in Starfleet

Born and raised on Betazed, he grew up in a loving home, raised by his mother. Raised in a middle class family, Jerral was enthralled by the prospect of Starfleet from an early age. While his grades in school were acceptable, he excelled in tasks that involved his hands, and gravitated towards the fields of engineering where he seemed to have an innate grasp of the field.

After basic training, Jerral has shipped off on the USS Codex as a engineering crewman. After serving a 6 month tour on the Codex, he went back to Earth to receive training as a weapon systems specialist, earning his rating in this specialty. He then shipped back to the Codex to serve for 6 years, moving up through the ranks to the final rank of Petty Officer second class. He was then transferred to the USS Keltoi, and then transferred to the USS Night’s Watch when it was launched where he served for another 3 years, earning the rank of Chief Petty Officer, before receiving a warrant and gaining the rank of Warrant Officer.

In good physical condition. He isn’t as strong as some of his fellow crewmembers, but he makes up for it in agility and speed. He has good hand eye coordination and excellent manual dexterity which help him greatly in crawling through Jefferies tubes, access tunnels and making repairs in tight quarters. Has a series of tiny, fine scars across his lower legs, chest and arms, from a close call with an exploding shield power coupling.

Trained as a Weapons System specialist, and has served four years in that job on a Keltoi class ship
