Sam is a beautiful young woman who happily enjoys the wonders of science. Her appearence his usually followed with her hair either down if on assignment or up in the lab, she wears mostly her starfleet uniform and is rarler seen at party's.

EDUCATIONAL SUMMARY

In the early years Samantha was lead to be believed as a disrupted child. She cryed out, saught attention and hurt people un-intentionally. This was all due to her empathic ability from her fathers side, it is one of the reasons she chooses to supress it now. Because of this her education from a lower level was rendered useless, once she got to secondry school she was forced as a teenager to catch up with much she had missed. It took a hard toll on her life and she came close to loosing her mind (not literally speaking) several times. She moved from friendship group to friendship group, never really making any good friends. She fell in love with the art of science and temporal mechanics. She devoted her life to it and is now quite the authority on the subject.

FAMILY AND BACKGROUND

Sam was unaware of her family background and where her father came from. Until recently she did not know her father was a betazoid and has only just come into realising the extent of her empathic powers. Since learning about her father her empathic abilities have hightened, something she wishes to stop. Because she was raised with her mother on Earth, she rejects her fathers side of the family. She trys to suppress her powers as much as she can.

PRE-STARFLEET HISTORY

Before joining starfleet Sam took a professors degree in general science, temporal science, and the science of engineering. She aced each course and went onto a three year course titled 'Science and everything in it. Sam then went on to teach for 2 years before enrolling in Starfleet.

STARFLEET HISTORY

Passing through the academy Sam took each instructor by surprise with her great knowledge of science and the workings, she neglected to tell her instructors that she had taught science for two years previous until her final examination. After passing with flying colours she went onto work on the USS Coral as an understudy to Dr. Drankel. There she studied more into the art of temporal and engineering science until she was transferred to the USS Angel as an ACSO, where she learnt the origin of her father and began to home in on her empathic poweress. She is currently on board the USS Champlain.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Sam is highly trained in defending her mind. Because of the amount of time she has placed into surpressing her power she has learnt how to block and evade attacks from other telepaths. She can keep anyone out of her mind, she is strong willed and ready to kick up a fuss if anything happens. Her enriching science life has left her with many skills to do with that subject.

RECREATIONAL INTERESTS

Tampering around with temporal mechanics and sitting in science labs thinking up new ways of doing things. She also enjoys the holodeck as it gives her chance to test her ideas out.
