History, Education and Skills
Family and Background :

His parents both were 'factory' workers. They worked at a production plant for weapons materials for Starfleet, items that could not easily be replicated. It was from that little bit of direct contact that Leonal decided to join Starfleet, the Andorian Self Defense Force couldn't begin to meet with the level of perfection he tended to hold for himself.

Education

:

Standard Education until joining Starfleet Academy
Starfleet Academy - Tactical Track with Engineering courses
Post Academy: Starfleet War College, Marine Training at Paris Island, Advanced Engineering & Combat Engineering courses at Starfleet Academy and on Paris Island

Pre-Starfleet History

:

Spider spent his whole life living on Andoria, drinking in the culture and past history as a 'warrior race'. He spent a good portion of his teenage years learning about the past battles of his people and Starfleet. He took particular note of any action against Tellarites, as his people have a racial dislike of the pig-like race.

Starfleet History

:

Spider went directly from the Marine Training Facility at Paris, into the Combat Engineering program. He had taken most of the necessary engineering courses during his four-year Academy curriculum; he only needed to take a couple more to meet the criteria for Combat Engineering. Once graduated, he was immediately sent into a Combat Engineering team on the fringe, the Back-Breakers on the Drestier, until his rise to 1st Lieutenant and his ascension to commanding the Combat Engineering squad 'Fallen Angels', late of Utopia Planitia and moved into the 52nd fleet.

Throughout the years that he has had command of the Fallen Angels, he has had various commands as MXO or MCO. The Angels were often found on the fringe as the backbone of small Marine forces on explorer-type vessels. His only time away from the front-lines was a year long stint back on Earth at the Advanced War College, for tactics and strategy.

It was during his tenure as CCE of the 'Angels that he was moved to the USS Boudicca and given the MXO Slot.

Medical History

:

Various scars and broken bones from a long history of combat action.

Skills

:

Combat Engineering, Fully skilled Engineer, Explosives Ordinance Disposal, Explosives handling, Brilliance in Strategy and Tactics for single squad and mid-sized forces. Starfleet Hand-to-Hand Combat. Master Phaser. Average Piloting skills, with the most hours logged aboard standard Marine dropship craft, though he is not rated for anything larger then a Stallion Class Marine runabout.

Other Information
Hobbies :

Spider collects ancient martial weapons, primarily those of his home-world, although he does have a smattering from other cultures.

Otherwise, like most Marines, he is a bar-rat and can often be found in ten-forward.

Admiral Bell threw her arms around the Ensign, "You don't have to be scared anymore, you don't have to be guilty anymore, you are not responsible for what that madman did to you.", she said to her quietly and for a moment longer, releasing her from the embrace. "It's going to take time, its going to be a toll... I will be right here, and I am not going anywhere."
