It was felt by Fleet Intel that this had to mean leaving the family, under the assumption of a fatal accident. Bracken�s actions and those of her unit remain omega classified. The unit was retired 2407, with Bracken offered the choice of an Academy posting or a Return To Unit, Choosing the latter she was posted to the USS Dennison as XO of the Marine detachment.
