Dr. Cillian Alexander Mcgarrett was born to a Star fleet medical officer and a singer, Nathan and Myca Mcgarrett. He was given the best and his parents loved him uncontrollably. He loved going with his father on his excursions with the Federation. Cillian loved the fact of helping other species. He started helping animals and slowly worked his way up to people. It was a year before he went to school, that his sisters Angel and Audrey were born.

He rose very quickly in the highest ranks at the Star fleet Medical School. He was very gifted like his father. Soon after he had graduated from Medical school at an early age, Cillian joined his father on a Federation starship called the Andromeda. The USS Andromeda was the fastest ship in its class. Cillian�s father loved teaching his son everything he needed to know when he became a medical doctor for his own crew some day. Then an unfortunate encounter happened. No one knew what had happened. It happened all of a sudden and very fast. All Cillian remembered was black smoke everywhere and his father had been seriously hurt. When the smoke had cleared, Cillian saw what looked like the figure of a Romulan male standing over his father with his knife dripping with Cillian�s father�s blood. The Romulan had fled the scene and Cillian tried his best to save his father. His father�s last words to his son, as he laid there dying in Cillian�s arms, were �Never give up.� and then he had died. Cillian would never forget that day. He is determined to find the Romulan who murdered his father.

It was also during that time that his sister Angel had met an arms dealer, Andres. They married. Andres was off on one of his business trips and a very pregnant Angel was left in the care of her older brother, the doctor. Just before Andres had come back, Angel had gone into labor. Cillian had delivered his own nephew. Some months later, Audrey met a member of the Orion Free Traders, Sirius on one of his stops. She just had to be dancing that night and the two eloped together.

he has a scar on his left shoulder from a A wound he had received from working with an unstable patient. The patient had gotten hold of a laser scalpel and stabbed Cillian in the shoulder. It had torn through some muscle, but surgery was able to fix it. Though the injury does appear to give Cillian problems with the climate is colder.

Dr. Mcgarret is an extremely bright young man. He is very passionate about his work. He is very understanding, kind and compassionate. His father had died in his arms when he was younger and he is still dealing with that. He has not fully opened up about it. He is quiet and reserved upon first meetings, but is very friendly when you get to know him better.

He has a strong dislike for Romulans and people in authority.
