I do ask one thing only Sir", said Ensign Smithson. The Captain raised an eyebrow quizzically. "And what would that be Ensign?", he asked. "I ask only that I be treated as the rest of the crew", said the new arrival, before then going on to explain her reasons for thinking that perhaps she would not be. It seemed that she had experienced a certain distaste from her compatriots during her time in the academy for just being 'of a certain breeding', and that did not make sense to the hybrid Vulcan at all. As a Vulcan of course, the Captain had no real understanding of elevation through genetic heritage, it made no sense whatsoever to him, for on Vulcan, all had equal opportunities to excel, whatever their cultural or genealogical background. Smithson then went on to say that she had actually once resorted to throwing a cadet into the water for his behavour, and that she did not want to be put into a situation whereby that might happen again! Which was precisely the point that the CO interjected. "That is not going to happen on this ship Ensign, I can vouch for any one of this crew. Nobody is going to push you to the point whereby you would feel the need to throw them into the water", said the Captain. (Reply Smithson, IYW) Alexandria then elaborated somewhat on her physical skills, her expertise with a variety of Klingon weapons in particular. "I could have gone into Starfleet Marine Corps with my combat skills, but I chose Fleet not grunt", said Smithson with a smile. "I see", said the Captain, "it might interest you to know that we have our own compliment of Marines on board the Spectre, perhaps you might find a challenging outlet for your abilities amongst them", he added. (Reply Smithson) (Posted by Alan) (USS Spectre - Captain's Ready Room - TAC/ASC, Ensign JG, Alexandria Smithson - 21:51) "That is not going to happen on this ship Ensign; I can vouch for any one of this crew. Nobody is going to push you to the point whereby you would feel the need to throw them into the water", said the Captain. “Thank you Sir, you have no idea how better that makes me feel” ~Part Vulcan Part Betazoid, I wonder if he can read my thoughts without contact, as both his parents are telepathic, Betazoids are to varying degrees~ She thought to herself. Alex Continued on with a litany of her combat skills and ended with. “I could have gone into Starfleet Marine Corps with my combat skills, but I chose Fleet not grunt”, said Smithson with a smile. “I see, it might interest you to know that we have our own compliment of Marines on board the Spectre, perhaps you might find a challenging outlet for your abilities amongst them”, he added. “Marines on the Ship!!? Interesting, I will look into that Sir after I settle in and find my feet, I know my Department Sir, but what and which area of the ship will my duties be?” She asked. (Reply T’Vhor) (Posted by Paul Davies) (USS Spectre - Captain's Ready Room - CO, Captain T'Vhor - 21:52) Ensign Smithson's expression seemed to positively light up at the mention of a Marine contingent on board, and whilst she could have easilly have created a program in the Holodeck to provide a challenge and outlet for herself, clearly she saw the chance of fighting 'real' people so much better an option. “Marines on the Ship!!? Interesting, I will look into that Sir after I settle in and find my feet. I know my Department Sir, but what and which area of the ship will my duties be?” She asked. "That is a matter for your direct superior Ensign, Lieutenant Walker Isengard is currently acting chief of Tactical and Security, he will decide where you are best needed", said the Captain. (Reply Smithson, IYW) "You may report in to him at your leisure, although I would suspect that he might prefer you to do so tomorrow morning at the beginning of his shift", said the Captain, raising an eyebrow now as he paused to contemplate Isengards somewhat quirky manner, and how the Ensign might possibly misinterpret that. She was a trained Starfleet officer though and Starfleet officers were expected to respect their fellow crewmembers, whatever they felt.... "You may report in to him at your leisure, although I would suspect that he might prefer you to do so tomorrow morning at the beginning of his shift", said the Captain raising an eyebrow. “Yes Sir, is there anything else?” She asked. (Reply T’Vhor) (Posted by Paul Davies) (USS Spectre - Captain's Ready Room – CO, Captain T'Vhor - 21:55) “....is there anything else?” asked Ensign Smithson, clearly still thinking on the subject of fighting with a Marine or two. It was a strange question to be asking the man in charge of the ship, it was normally the Captain himself that would have asked such a question, not a newly arrived Ensign. The Captain dismissed it nonetheless and put it down to eagerness to get to work, either that... or a touch of nerves. "No", said the Captain, "I think not. You seem to have everything 'covered' as they say. All that is left for you to do is to settle in to your quarters and then report to Lieutenant Isengard when you choose to do so", he added. (Reply Smithson, IYW) "All that is left for me to do is to formally welcome you aboard the Spectre", said the Captain, reaching over now to offer his hand to the new officer as he spoke. "I trust that your tour with us will be rewarding and beneficial to your advancement within Starfleets ranks", he added. "Welcome aboard Ensign.... you are dismissed", said the Captain. (Reply Smithson, IYW) The Ensign then turned about and headed out... (Reply Smithson, IYW) (Posted by Alan) (USS Spectre - Captain's Ready Room – TAC/ASC, Ensign JG Alexandria Smithson - 21:59) Alex asked her question, and then waited for the Captains response. "No, I think not. You seem to have everything 'covered' as they say. All that is left for you to do is to settle in to your quarters and then report to Lieutenant Isengard when you choose to do so" The Captain responded. “Thank you Sir, I will as you say get settled in” Alex responded. "All that is left for me to do is to formally welcome you aboard the Spectre, I trust that your tour with us will be rewarding and beneficial to your advancement within Starfleet’s ranks" He said holding out his hand. Alex stood and took the offered hand and gave a surprisingly firm handshake, if the Captain noticed her did not show it on his Vulcan face. "Welcome aboard Ensign.... you are dismissed", said the Captain. “Thank you Captain” She said, then turned and left the room, remembering to pick up her kitbag on the way out. She entered the Turbolift and had it take her to Junior Officers quarters. (Reply None) (Posted by Paul Davies) (USS Spectre – Smithson’s Quarters – TAC/ASC, Ensign JG Alexandria Smithson - 22:05) As she entered, she took a look around the room and saw that her few belongings had already been put here. Dropping her bag and taking off her tunic and rolling her sleeves up she got to work unpacking three medium size belongings crates. (Reply NONE) (Posted by Paul Davies) (USS Spectre – Smithson’s Quarters – TAC/ASC, Ensign JG Alexandria Smithson - 22:30) Twenty-five minutes later all the crates were unpacked, these were then put into the storage area. One of the boxes had her bedding and she stripped the Starfleet issue sheets and put her own on, for the next ten minutes she put her sleeping area in good order, then moved to the living area where she took out her Bat’Leth and hung it up, same went for her Mek’Leth and Dag’TagH. While she could not wear it, she did display her Klingon Warriors baldric and put what little ornaments she had up. (Reply NONE) (Posted by Paul Davies) (USS Spectre – Smithson’s Quarters – TAC/ASC, Ensign JG Alexandria Smithson - 22:35) With the Living area and sleeping area done, she moved to the refresher and put away here grooming items. With that done, she recycled a clean uniform hung it up and jumped into the shower. (Reply NONE) (Posted by Paul Davies) (USS Spectre - Jefferies Tube 16-B, Ventral Sensor Array Interface - Engineer, Lt Norman Bates - 22:59) Norman allowed himself the luxury of relaxing back onto the bulkhead for a brief moment in order to collect his thoughts. So far, the repairs had gone reasonably well and the sensor pallets had all logged in to his panel as green across the board with only one or two minor discrepancies, those though, were minor enough to be regarded as negligable to the entire functioning of the ventral array itself, and could therefore wait until they had docked at a starbase for more thorough diagnostic assessment. If he could say so himself, and he felt that he could, he had done a stirling job of leading the team and was proud that Lt H'Chir had regarded him as competant enough to lead them. Indeed, the Andorian was one of the few people on board that saw through the jibes and the wise-cracks he endured from others, and as such, Norman held a great regard in him. Norman threw a hand up to his dark hair and then swept his fingers through it, he took a deep breath and then returned to the primary interface to enter the system pre-start codes that would initialize the array. [Sensor pallet initialization in process - Please confirm authorization] "Bates, Norman, Lieutenant First Class", said Norman. [Identification Bates, Norman, Lieutenant First Class - Starfleet ID 216940245 - Confirmed] Norman shrugged his shoulders and huffed audibly through his nose. It seemed that he received more of a polite response from a computer these days than he did from any of his fellow crewmen, the name had never helped of course but still, he could never quite get over the trite and casual manner in which some people regarded him. Norman began on the key pad once again, the display upon it changing from rows and columns of alphanumeric code, to a block diagram of the sensor system itself and it's associated circuitry. Then he briefly tapped at his combadge. "Bates to Lieutenant H'Chir", he said. =/\=Go ahead Mr Bates, I trust that you are going to give me good news=/\= Norman paused briefly before answering, then he began. "I'm ready to restart the ventral array sir, just letting you know that the local ODN is now back online and purged", said Norman. There was another slight pause from Engineering at his words, obviously the Andorian was checking things his end in readiness, then he replied. =/\=Good work Bates, you can start when ready. I'll watch the flow-through from here just to be sure that nothing is going to pop when the system initializes... H'Chir out=/\= Norman then began the procedure. "OK, let's get you started again shall we", he said, as he began inputting the relevant commands to do just that. [System initializing - Control Logic is Online and Ready - Beginning ODN Cascade Allignment and Pre-Purge in Readiness for Restart] Norman allowed himself a small smile, then he watched the panel accordingly... (Reply Any, None) (Posted by Alan) (USS Spectre - Main engineering - Chief Wai Biign - 23:00) Wai walked through engineering with purpose. Taking measured breaths as she unconsciously glanced at her suits integrity. Being with air breathers who had no need for emersion suits or hydration tanks had taken a long time to get use to. They did not understand her stand off nature when she had first joined but their life did not depend on not leaking like a sieve but she had mellowed over time as her out look changed. Although her suit was reinforced and armoured against most injuries but she still had a persistent fear of leaking water and dying of affixation. She had suit sealant and an emergency respirator attacked to her suit at all times as she never knew what was around the corner. She saw who she was looking for through the reinforced glass of her face plate. She gave a slight smile as she stepped closer to the assistant engineer Dural. “Sir I have the maintenance report for Ventral Sensor Array for you.” (Reply Dural) (Reply Dural, any) (Posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre - Main engineering - ACEO, Ensign Aldlar Durgil - 23:02) Aldlar looked up to see the suited figure, and recognizing it for Biign. 'Sir I have the maintenance report for Ventral Sensor Array for you.' Aldlar returned the smile as he took the report looking it over. "Very good. Everything seems up to spec. It seems that the Dorsal Array was damaged quite a bit earlier. I was just about to head up there. Think you could help?" (reply Biign) Aldlar nodded and moved to the lockers where the repair kits were, grabbing one, then heading to the turbolift, where he waited for a few moments. (Reply Biign, any) (Posted by: John) (USS Spectre - Main engineering – Chief Wai Biign - 23:04) "Very good. Everything seems up to spec. It seems that the Dorsal Array was damaged quite a bit earlier. I was just about to head up there. Think you could help?" Biign nodded and smiled through her face plate. “Yes Sir. I would be glad top help.” She walked with Durgil to the closest engineering locker as he grabbed a repair kit. She took one for her self and him to the turbolift. Shortly the doors opened and they stepped in side. As the turbolift hurtled through the ship she turned to Durgil. “Sir do you know what the state of the damage to the dorsal array is?” (Reply Durgil) (Reply Durgil, any) (Posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre - Main engineering – ACEO, Ensign Aldlar Durgil - 23:06) 'Sir, do you know what state the dorsal array is?' Aldlar scratched the back of his head as he tried to think of a way to simply state the issue without over simplifying it. "Well... After we repaired most of the damage, we tried to restart it, but it won't keep the plasma flow working right. We've tried a few ODN relay flushes, we've rerouted power a few times. We're trying to restart it again, But even if it does work, we've got to find out what's been causing the problems." Aldlar's tone of voice changed as he addressed the computer, asking it to take him to the dorsal array's control room. (Reply None) (Posted by: John) (USS Spectre - Dorsal Sensor Array Control – ACEO, Ensign Aldlar Durgil - 23:09) Aldlar entered the room, spotting instantly the open hatch that meant someone was in the jefferies tube beyond. Hopefully, the system would start up this time, but whether it did or didn't finding the cause for it's stubbornness and inability to start up the first time was the main goal here. He turned to address Biign. "Alright, I'll check the logs to try and see if theres any data to explain. You cans tart checking the hardware. That alright?" (Reply Biign) Aldlar nodded in response, and then began search the logs for anything that might begin to lead him to the cause of the problem. (Reply, Any, Bates, Biign) (Posted by: John) (USS Spectre - Jefferies Tube 29-C, Dorsal Sensor Array Interface - Engineer, Lt Norman Bates and CEO, Lt H'Chir - 23:15) The Ventral sensor array was now thankfully, back online and functioning at optimal efficiency. Now it was time to get to work on the dorsal array which had taken a sustained pounding from the ETHOS ship when it had been attacked in orbit of Vedea IV. Clearly, the primary remit of the hostile was to destroy it's sensor and communications abilities before it sent the ship into the sea, that way if it survived the crash, it would no longer be able to get word out of what had occured, thus ensuring the success of the ETHOS vessel itself. Bates paused at the primary console and noted the scorched covering which still looked decidedly hot. Tentatively, he moved his hand towards it, noting the heat that was indeed radiating away from it as he did so. He then shook his head. ~Not good, not good at all~ Clearly, Norman was not going to be able to gain access to the interface this way, well, not unless he wanted to leave the skin of his hands behind that is! Instead, he glanced up the tube towards the secondary bulkhead, where he knew he could get access to the ODN relays and tap into primary control. It was the only way to shut the feeds down anyway and unless they could do that, there was no way in the galaxy that they would be able to fix the array itself. Bates tapped at his combadge once again, and the CEO answered abruptly. =/\=Norman!... What is it now?=/\= he exclaimed in a manner that momentarily threw Bates immediately back to the jibes and the mickey takes. "I.. er, I'm about to try to shut down the primary feed to the Dorsal array sir.... But, the panel is inaccessible due to damage. I'm going to gain access through the secondary taps, I just felt that you should be aware of this", said Bates. =/\=Of course Norman... I'm sorry, I didn't mean to snap at you. Please continue=/\= said a flustered sounding H'Chir. "It's.. it's really no... no problem sir", said Bates coyly, "I understand that Ensign Durgil is coming up with a crew also? They will need to know that it's just a little unsafe at the interface juncture", he added. =/\=I'll make sure that they know Lieutenant, don't worry.... Oh, and good work on the ventral array=/\= said H'Chir. "Th... thank you sir", said Bates, "let's hope that we can be as successful with the dorsal array", said Bates. "It's pretty smashed" =/\=OK, keep me updated on your progress Mr Bates - H'Chir out=/\= The comms then closed and Norman began to make his way forwards towards the secondary bulkhead panel, a brief smile again playing upon his face as he did so. The Andorian had called him Mr again, not many people called Norman Mr these days... "I am currently in my quarters sir", said the Captain, "I can meet you here if you wish or any other location that might be more suitable to the discussion you have in mind", said the Captain, knowing as he spoke that the Admiral would hardly be calling him just to enjoy a cup of Vulcan Chai. No, obviously there was something else on his mind. (Reply Sevant) (Posted by Alan) (USS Spectre - Ten Forward – FO, Williams - 23:30) Andrew stepped into ten forward. He was due on shift in half an hour but found his mind wandering so he thought that he might go and spend some time in a ten forward. He looked round the large room as the doors closed behind him. He was slightly taken aback by the sight of Admiral Sevant as he sat by one of the view ports watching the stars move past as they sped through at warp. He knew that an Admiral was on board and working at in the Strategic Operations Centre in the depths of the ship, but he had kept himself to himself the past few days. It was good to see that he was still alive and kicking but the Strategic Operations Centre and the deck it was on was hardened to most forms of attack due to the sensitive information it contained. He turned his attention away from the Admiral and walked over to the other Sevant in the room. Victoria Sevant was the hostess of ten forward and ran it very efficiently and was doing some work behind the bar. “Evening Mrs Sevant. Is their any chance of some tea before you close? I know your shutting soon. I was wondering if it was possible.” He was slightly surprised by how formal he was towards her but he always seemed to slip into that mode when he was tired and distracted. (Reply Victoria Sevant) “Thank you. Can I have a large cup of Lady Grey with a splash of milk?” He knew that having a tea before his shift was a bad idea as it was a diuretic and he would be running to the lavatory every five minutes but he did not care. "The last person to call me 'Mrs. Sevant' ended up being kicked." She stepped back half a step and looked at her footwear, which were more decorative than sturdy. "I think I'd scuff my shoes if I started in on you, though, so I'll be nice and forget you said that... but only for the sake of my wardrobe." She grinned slightly. "Call me Vicki. And, yes, I'm pretty sure I can still convince the replicator to produce something tasty. What'll it be?" “Thank you. Can I have a large cup of Lady Grey with a splash of milk?” Vicki nodded and half turned to punch in the order. She produced the mug a moment later, put a small napkin on the bar top, and gently placed the mug on top of it. She tapped the side of it with a fingernail, producing a not-unpleasant ringing sound. "Try this with a slice of lime and no milk sometime, it's excellent." (reply: Williams) A small bit of movement caught her eye, and she looked up in time to see her husband depart at his normal fast pace, the man didn't know how to take things slow while he was on a ship. She chuckled as she pulled a second mug of tea out of the replicator, tuned to her tastes, and wrapped both of her hands around it. "So, what brings you out so late at night?" (reply: Williams, any) (posted by Trout) (USS Spectre - Ten Forward – FO, Williams - 23:34) Andrew watched Vicki get him his drink and quickly thought about what she had said about the grievous bodily harm she could cause and decided not to find out how bad it could be. "Try this with a slice of lime and no milk sometime, it's excellent." He gave her a slight smile and nodded. “I’ll give it a try next time.” He picked up the mug and took a sip as Vicky looked at some thing behind him and gave a chuckle as she pulled a mug of tea out of the replicator. "So, what brings you out so late at night?" Andrew paused for a moment before answering. “I have been trying to work out whether I should hate my sister. She’s an agent for Admiral Doenitz and has endangered the ship and crew more then once. She is part of the enemy who has killed many friends and put the federation into civil war…” He paused and was slightly shocked that he was opening up to any one. He was the type of person who liked to help others but was not wonderful at shearing his own problems. “But she is my sister. Since my parents died she is the only one I have. I had thought that I had lost her at the end of the civil war and that I was alone. She was reported KIA but now here she participated in the assault on the ship and tried to kidnap me…” He paused again. “Do you know what her reason was?” (Reply Vicky IYW) “She wanted us to be a family again.” He gave a slight laught and a sad smile. “I have wanted this since I knew that she was missing. I had wanted her to come back, every thing would be okay but now she is back and we could be a family again. But now she is back locked up in the isolation bay in sickbay and with everything she has done I just don’t know.” He took a sip of his tea and smiled at Vicky again. “But she is my sister and we are family. Sorry not exactly what you were asking.” He gave a sigh as he paused again. “Nice to know that the FO is sane and unemotionally compromised.” (Reply Vicky) (Reply Vicky, any) (Posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre - Ten Forward – Hostess Vicki Sevant - 23:35) "So, what brings you out so late at night?" Vicki brought the mug to her lips and took a sip as the First Officer considered his answer. Something was bothering the man, that much was obvious. Too many years at an operations console had made her an excellent judge of mood when it came to senior officers. She sniffed the tea as Williams finally decided to talk. “I have been trying to work out whether I should hate my sister. She’s an agent for Admiral Doenitz and has endangered the ship and crew more then once. She is part of the enemy who has killed many friends and put the federation into civil war…” Vicki controlled her facial expression only by sheer willpower, that his statement caught her by surprise was an understatement. She did let the mug drop as he continued with, “But she is my sister. Since my parents died she is the only one I have. I had thought that I had lost her at the end of the civil war and that I was alone. She was reported KIA but now here she participated in the assault on the ship and tried to kidnap me... Do you know what her reason was?” She gave the smallest shake of her head. “She wanted us to be a family again.” He gave a small laugh. “I have wanted this since I knew that she was missing. I had wanted her to come back, every thing would be okay but now she is back and we could be a family again. Sorry not exactly what you were asking.” He gave a sigh and paused, “Nice to know that the FO is sane and unemotionally compromised.” ~Well now, there brings up memories I didn’t want to deal with.~ she thought as she wrapped her hands around the mug again. "I'd be more worried about your sanity if you looked at the entire situation with unemotional detachment." she said evenly. She picked the mug up and cradled it in one of her palms. "Take it from me, one's actions don't define family. Those strings are tied to the heart long before we decide what path we'll take in the world." She mused for a moment as she took a sip of her tea. "What will you do if she's incarcerated? Anyone continuing hostilities at this late date is treated rather harshly." She placed her PADD back onto the desk in front of her as she sat leaned back and stretched out her stiff back. She glanced over at the door that lead into the isolation bays where there was a heavy security presence as they secured the prisoner. She swept her gaze around the quiet sickbay and had a slight smile. After the pandemonium of the away mission she was glad to be back in her quiet sickbay. She looked over to the doctor’s office as the doors opened. She smiled as she recognised the doctor. “Evening Doctor. I hope you will be heading to your quarters soon. As I’m sure tomorrow will be a busy day and we don't need you to work your self in to the ground.” She knew that she was being a bit hard but some one had to look out for the Doctors on board as they were not always able to do it for them as they became to engrossed in there work. She was not unworried about going to the FO who was the acting CMO until they got his replacement and getting him to order them to get some sleep. She had to kick him out of sickbay once or twice when he had over done it. (Reply Isengard) (Posted by Paul Davies) (USS Spectre – Security Chief's Office – Lt(sg) Walker Isengard – 08:05) “Ensign Junior Grade Alexandria Smithson Tactical and Security reporting Sir” Walker didn't look up from the PADD he was working on. He'd known the instant someone had walked into Security, no mental shielding was perfect and he'd felt her plainly. It hadn't taken but a moment to bring up her bio on his padd as she found his office. He had already started refreshing himself on it as she came to attention before him. Of course he'd known she'd arrived on the ship, he'd be a poor Chief if he hadn’t, but apparently the Captain had sent her to bed before she could report last night when he’d been expecting it. ~Well, I suppose she did arrive late.~ "You're part of our new crew rotation, I assume?" he asked neutrally as he continued scrolling the PADD. “Yes Sir I came over with yesterdays replacements, I need to know where my work station will be Sir?” ~Mm, go getter.~ Walker looked up for the first time. He gently placed the PADD on the desk and folded his hands together, looking over her with the full weight of all his years. He could only imagine what he looked like to her, a 50'ish betazoid with crags and scars lining his face. His expression was perfectly hidden, a mask that few could read. "Have a seat, Ensign." he finally said. (reply: Smithson) Isengard sat back in his seat and folded his hands together in his lap as the new Ensign took one of his seats. She looked every inch the patrician that her bio said she was, her background wasn’t entirely unlike Walker's. It would be very interesting indeed to see how she worked out. "Welcome to the Spectre." he said in a quiet-conversational tone of voice. "You did well at the Academy, and I'm pleased to see that, but this is the Fleet and you're about to get an eye opener." His voice took on a slightly colder aspect as he spoke, more like his norm. "Our job is to make sure the Spectre, and her crew, survives anyone who comes aboard wishing to do harm. To stop some other poor bastard from turning us inside out with a wild choice of weaponry, to ensure the ship survives - even if we don't. I don't know what kind of person you are yet; but I'll warn you now, if you're filled with patriotic fervor and visions of being soaked in glory because you're in Tactical... look at my face, count the scars, and ask yourself how much that glory costs." He tapped his thumbs together. "As long as you keep your wits about you, we'll get along just fine." He paused and glanced at his PADD again. "I've read your bio, and it does a fairly good job of breaking down your psychological makeup... if you're a psychologist." Walker looked back up at her, "Tell me about yourself, and why you're here." He didn't open his shields, but he let his empathic senses range, so he could get a feel for her. (reply: Smithson, with room for replies) Walker spied someone else entering Security on his monitor as Smithson spoke, and tapped a button on the desk without disturbing the Ensign. A few moments later, the door opened immediately after the chime went off. Isengard looked up and made a 'come in' gesture with his left hand. He almost winced as the officer clicked his heels together in reporting, though. "Lt. Lewis Blake reporting for duty sir." "This isn't the diplomatic corps, and I'm not an admiral. Save the perfect form for when you're in dress uniform." He said quietly. He tapped his fingers together, "Have a seat Lieutenant." he said before turning his attention back to the new Ensign. "We will continue this later. In the mean time, familiarize yourself with Security's layout. We will meet again at 1600 on the holodeck to clear you for bridge duty, come in training gear." (reply Isengard, iyw) (posted by Calvin) (USS Spectre – Isolation Bay – Sickbay – Audrey Williams – 09:00) Audrey sat cross-legged on the bio-bed. She looked at the flickering force field in front of her and the two security guards beyond it. There was not much to do while she was in the isolation bay but think. She let her mind wander as she began to think about how she had gotten to the position she now found her self in. She guessed that it had started with the death of her parents and the rescuing of her brother Andrew the sole survivor. She was in her last year of starfleet academy and was a rising star in star fleet intelligence. She reckoned that this was where her future could have changed. This was the time she chose to follow Admiral Doenitz rather then Admiral LoDona. It was the introduction to a man who was to become her mentor until his death at the end of the civil war. While her brother was dealing with his grief by working on the SS Hepburn a civilian search and rescue vessel she was being slowly indoctrinated into the Doenitz lore and a few years later when Andrew entered the academy to become a doctor she was already an active agent in Doenitz intelligence service. She kept close ties with her brother while he was at the academy and was disappointed when he was snatched away by people loyal to LoDona before she could change his allegiances. A bitter smile crossed her lips as she remembered the day she had called Andrew a traitor and vowed to bring him down for his crimes against Starfleet. They did not cross paths for a while later when she had tried to plant a bomb on board the USS Spectre and implicate Andrew as a traitor. It had nearly worked but had been foiled at the last moment. After that their lives did not cross for a long time. She had progressed up the ranks to the rank of commander and became the Captain of the USS Resilience at the disasters battle of Batazed. Her ship was destroyed but able to save her crew and her self before the ship exploded. At that point she thought that she would be taken prisoner by the victorious LoDona’s taskforce. She had been looking forward for a long while to peace even if it being at the hands of her enemies. Her luck was not with her that day as she was picked up by the retreating Doenitz forces that slipped away into the warp. As the fleets of Admiral Doenitz retreated towards earth the ships she was put in command of a hastily refitted anti-matter pod transport as an anti-matter minelayers. They were instrumental in the defence of Hydra system with flotilla of light cruisers and were able to bottle neck one of Admirals LoDona pursuing battle group under the increasingly paranoid eye of the Doenitz hierarchy. This only prolonged the inevitable as Earth fell to the rebels and the civil war was won. Yet again she was whisked off by splinter groups loyal to Doenitz. All she wanted was to get back to star fleet and patch things up with Andrew and try to bring back her broken family. The fanatical followers of Doenitz began and serious of purges with in there own scattered forces and any one who was not totally loyal to the cause was put to death instantly. After a few purges and as she was about to start planning her own escape when disaster struck again and the whole 52 fleet disappeared. As the followers of Doenitz slowly inserted them selves back into the power vacuum that had been by the 52 fleet’s disappearance. Audrey had been side lined to the Wallace space station where she could be kept out of the way. Wallace was an R&D centre for the next generation of star fleets weaponry and its star ship application. She worked a lot on the Sacred Shift project. This was a test bed flotilla that used neural interface technology to control Prometheus and Indefatigable class starships. The starships used one person to control each ship while in a single hull configuration or in multi vector attack mode which meant that with the lack of qualified personal and multitude of hulls could be quickly integrated in to the fleet to plug the gaps left by the 52’s disappearance. Another project was the Ghost project which was an attempt at the federation’s first truly biological war ship. Crewed by a group of specially selected joined trills the NX Ghost was a state of the art intelligence gathering vessel using bio tech to down load and process massive amount of information as well as using the new biological stealth technology if it ever went into production it would be a nasty little ship. Most recently she had been detailed to the Reflection Project and had been working closely with the engineers who were tasked updating its hull mounted holo-emitters. These emitters would then be fitted across the hull of a ship so that it can change its image to match any Starfleet vessel. This was about the time where the impossible happened. The 52 fleet appeared after being gone for 5 years. As the Doenitz loyalists reeled from this sudden shift in political power Audrey cried with joy as she was finally able to do what she had thought was now impossible and that was to see her brother again. She heard whispers of a plan to discredit the 52 fleet by using the USS Spectre. She used every favour and contact she had made during the last five years to get herself on the assault team. The rest as they say was history as her mind brought her self to her present predicament. She was held captive on a starship and for her, her war was finally over. She leaned back onto the bio-bed but she had accomplished what she had set out to do. She had spoken to Andrew no matter what happened to her next she had at least seen him even if it was maybe her last time. She closed her eyes and waited for what every next to happen. Our deflectors cannot sustain a burst of this length so we devised a way to link two or more ships increasing our range of scanning and preventing our own systems shutting down," Ensign Tolqu said handing Sprak a PADD. Sprak had to lean forward in his chair to take the PADD, but he then leaned back again. Sitting cross-legged in his chair, Sprak quickly reviewed the data contained on it while humming merrily to himself. "Hope for the best, plan for the worst. We can configure a series of probes to emit a tachyon pulse at a preset rate, thus bypassing the danger of equipment burn out. We could even convert some torpedo casings to serve the same purpose. "Did you now?" Sprak replied smile still planted squarely on his face. We could however place a small number of probes in strategic locations of importance? ” Sprak looked at the data on the screen quickly taking it all in and committing it to memory. He then picked up the PADD from his desk and started to work. His fingers tapping away rapidly on the screen while he talked. "You do remember that I said the probes would need to be modified right?" He asked as he looked up at the young Ensign and winked. "Lets see. An interphasic graviton burst should do the trick, the problem is equipment burn out. If we adjust the duodynetic graviton core like so then that would minimize the risk of burn out. We would need to have engineering configure the plasmonic particle scanner to the right frequencies. Perhaps a tri-axilating wave form." Sprak nodded to himself as he continued to tap out commands on the PADD faster than any human could hope to. "Oh! And we can contain the bursts in a magnascopic vertion field to prevent degradation over long distances." He tapped his finger against his lips for a few moments as he did a series of complex mathematical calculations in his head. Faunally, Sprak transferred his modified probe configuration to his terminal screen and then turned it so Tolqu to see. "As you can see," Sprak said confidently, "It can be done. This is not my first rodeo junior. We would need engineering to help configure the probes, but that shouldn't be a problem." Sprak smiled. "Also keep in mind that this is simply a fall back plan incase the Spectre needs to conduct the search on it's own. Your plan to use a series of ships is, of course, preferable but may not be feasible. I'm say we present both plans to the Captain and letting him make the final decision." (Reply Tolqu) "As for your ship net," Sprak continued, "I like it. We might have to make a few adjustments to the configuration of the sensor package." Sprak made few sensor wave length adjustments then tossed the PADD to Tolqu. "Lets present your idea to the Captain as our main recommendation with my probe idea as a secondary recommendation. We can let the Captain decide if both ideas are worth trying. After all, he would have a better idea on how much help we can expect once we arrive on scene." If we adjust the duodynetic graviton core like so then that would minimize the risk of burn out. We would need to have engineering configure the plasmonic particle scanner to the right frequencies. Perhaps a tri-axilating wave form." Teverine watched with a mild amount of awe at the speed Sprak worked on the PADD and as he listened, his scientific mind took over as he listened to what Sprak had to say. "Oh! And we can contain the bursts in a magnascopic vertion field to prevent degradation over long distances." He continued to watch as Sprak slightly turned his head to the side obviously who was in deep thought over the matter. Finishing his deliberation Sprak turned the console to Teverine. "As you can see, it can be done. This is not my first rodeo junior. We would need engineering to help configure the probes, but that shouldn't be a problem. Also keep in mind that this is simply a fall back plan in case the Spectre needs to conduct the search on its own. Your plan to use a series of ships is, of course, preferable but may not be feasible. I'm saying we present both plans to the Captain and letting him make the final decision." Teverine knew Sprak had given him a lesson in humility and more so had given him a lifeline at the end, and he truly felt grateful for it. As Sprak's ACSO he regretted his first introduction to his new commander and as a Science officer in Starfleet he knew there was always an answer. He had felt odd since waking up and had taken his ire out on the first person he had seen much to his chagrin now. He started to like his new commander. “Aye aye Sir” "As for your ship net, I like it. We might have to make a few adjustments to the configuration of the sensor package." "Let’s present your idea to the Captain as our main recommendation with my probe idea as a secondary recommendation. We can let the Captain decide if both ideas are worth trying. After all, he would have a better idea on how much help we can expect once we arrive on scene." “I think we should present them as both valid options and let the Captain decide, looking at these specs sir we could modify a probe within 24 hours I believe. Shall we head there now?” With a smile he felt as if the rage had lifted from him and burrowed deep below the surface, though he still felt a little of the anger throbbing from somewhere deep within. (Reply Sprak, Hightower) (Posted by Peter Richards) (USS Spectre - Outside Captain's Ready Room - ACSO, Teverine Tolqu - 09:32) Teverine stood with Sprak next to him, they had a silent journey to the captain's ready room, well Teverine had kept silent listening to Sprak's merry conversation. Teverine felt in no mood for frivolity, and his new commander seemed to have an abundance of it for the both of them, and half the crew whilst he was at it. Teverine pushed the panel next to the door which emitted a chime notifying his captain someone wished to enter and waited/ Teverine felt the anger simmering still within him and pondered why he felt the need to rage, he knew he was always a serious person, he knew he felt a gnawing guilt over his actions in the past, but he had never felt any direct anger towards Starfleet and his crewmates. Snapping out of his reverie he waited for the captain to give permisson to enter. (Reply T'Vhor) Teverine and Sprak entered the room, he deferred to his superior to start the conversation. Handing over the Padd when Sprak started the conversation. (Reply Sprak) (Reply T'Vhor) (Posted by Peter Richards) (USS Spectre - Captain's Ready Room - CO, Captain T'Vhor - 09:33) The chime of the door annunciator immediately drew the Captains attention away from the PADD he had been perusing. It was a welcomed distraction to say the very least for although technical details often sat well with the Vulcan hybrid CO, on this particular occasion the intracicies of a malfunctioning holosuite was hardly high on his agenda of priorities, thus the PADD was placed down upon the table as he settled back into his seat. "Enter", said the Captain sharply, and in walked the diminutive form of the Chief Science Officer and Ensign Tolqu, who himself carried yet another PADD that was clearly destined for the Captain's perusal also. The Captain glanced to it briefly, and then spoke. "Gentlemen", he began, gesturing now to the seats opposite him, "please, take a seat" (Reply Sprak, Tolqu, IYW) Tolqu immediately layed the PADD upon the desk and then glanced briefly to his Lepricarian superior in order to let him initiate whatever it was that they had come here to discuss, as the superior officer it was only right of course. Then he returned his glance to the CO as Sprak duly began in his own, inimatable style. As well as this they had new transfers that had arrived and they had to be logged into the computer system. This meant comparing their file to the one in the system. Then giving them assigned quarters and security clearances. As well as all that they were now heading back to earth to try and stop what could be potentially another civil war. As some one who had loved through the last one she was not eager to see a second. Jo found who she was looking for as she entered the room and quickly walked over to Smithson. "Lieutenant Smith to Ensign Smithson." (Reply Smithson) "I have the updated security reports if you want to look through them. I know you’ve spoken to the Captain and seen the Boss. She turned and ushered him over to a large flat table with a large flat screen imbedded into its surface. She touched the surface of the table and it light up which showed two groups of files. “The first group are fleet specific security files. Which I expect you had a briefing before you left to come here. ” She waved her hand at the first group of files. “The second group are specific to the Spectre.” She touched the image of the second file which opened to reveal a list of new files. “The first group are long term non-mission related files.” She skimmed through them until she got to the ones that she wanted. “These files are specific or related to the mission.” She opened the file and indicated to the list. “These files cover the information on the ETHOS vessel, the attack and subsequence crash landing and the assault by Admiral Doenitz forces. Also the sabotage and capture of Audrey Williams as well as the information from her primary interrogation.” She paused as she laid all the information out in front of him. “If you want any further information or data. (Reply Any) (Posted by Paul Davies) (USS Spectre – Security Station – Security Officer, Jo Smith – 10:39) “Thank you Lieutenant” Jo nodded at Smithson as she stepped back and gave her room. She moved to a console close enough to nearby if Smithson needed something but far enough away not to be standing over her. ~Right then~ She accessed the console with her security accuses and brought up file she had been working on since they had gotten off the planet. The file had been a down load from Starfleet intelligence about Audrey Williams and she had been cross referencing it with every thing she could think about to see if she could find anything that may be helpful. They had not much to go on they had scattered intelligence about her after the end of the civil war. LoDona’s intelligence had gotten a lot of information when they had taken back earth but some aspects were still patchy. There was a huge gap from the five years they had been away. ~Okay how do we connect her to the ETHOS vessel~ She scanned more files trying to get some connection. Then suddenly she saw something. It was a requisition file which mentioned the transportation of a large order omnidirectional holo diode clusters. These clusters were the basic mechanism for Holodecks. ~Well there is a hell of a lot clusters. They must be wanting to overhaul a lot of Holodecks~ She could not find the person who had requested the shipment but she did find where it was going. It had been shipped to Wallace an isolated Starbase that Starfleet Intelligence was in their need to find list. Her pulse quickened as she sent another query and found a file from four years ago. It was a partly destroyed and she had to pass it through the filter five or six times before anything legible became readable. The file was a list of names from a mandatory meeting of the stations department heads. She quickly scanned the names of the list. ~Come on you have to be there~ Her heart stopped as she found what she was looking for. She paused took a deep breath scanned the list again just to make sure she was not seeing things. “Ow my I can’t…” "…believe it.” She took a deep breath to calm her nerves before turning to Smithson. “Excuse me Ensign Smithson you really need to see this.” (Reply Smithson) She dumpped the information on to a PADD as she carried on speaking. “I had been tasked to looking into Audrey Williams past to help in our interrogation of her. I had been back tracking a lot of data from fleet intelligence and came across a shipment of omnidirectional holo diode clusters which with a few modifications could be embedded into a ships hull. I followed the shipment to Starbase Wallace and look who I found department head meeting.” She passed the PADD to Smithson. “None other then the woman that we have in custody Audrey Williams. She must know something more about the ETHOS vessel then she is letting on.” (Reply Smithson) (Reply Smithson Any) (Posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre – Security Station – TAC/ASC, Ensign JG Alexandria Smithson – 10:40) “…believe it.” Alex slightly jumped as Lieutenant smith suddenly spoke. “Excuse me Ensign Smithson you really need to see this.” Turning around, “what is it Lieutenant?” She asked walking over to take a look. She dumped the information on to a PADD she was holding as she spoke. “I had been tasked to looking into Audrey Williams past to help in our interrogation of her. I had been back tracking a lot of data from fleet intelligence and came across a shipment of omni directional holo diode clusters which with a few modifications could be embedded into a ships hull. I followed the shipment to Starbase Wallace and look who I found department head meeting.” Alex took the offered Padd, and scanned it, then looked back up with a questioning look. “None other then the woman that we have in custody Audrey Williams. She must know something more about the ETHOS vessel then she is letting on.” Tilting her head to one side “that would be somewhat logical, but why hold back information?” Alex asked, then answered her own question almost immediately “For leverage, she probably wants better results at the end and whatever she know, she thinks it might help her get this” Alex said with a raised eyebrow. (Reply Smith, Any) (Posted by Paul Davies) (USS Spectre – Security Station – Security Officer, Lieutenant JG Jo Smith – 10:44) “that would be somewhat logical, but why hold back information?” “For leverage, she probably wants better results at the end and whatever she know, she thinks it might help her get this” Jo nodded at what Smithson had said. “Why don’t you push this up to Lieutenant Blake and see if you can talk to Audrey Williams?” Although Jo was a Lieutenant and Smithson was an Ensign, she was the assistant tactical chief which meant that she was the person to make the request rather then her. I am Pilot Officer Driver and I will be your Captain for your flight this morning. With me on the flight deck is Pilot Officer Kemp our co-pilot and our flight time will be about five minutes unless we have any unexpected delays=^= Houseman rolled his eyes as he heard the announcement. ~Marvellous we have the comedy duo to day~ He looked at the other members of his squad who were in the troop transport with him before sealing his helmet. The boss had decided that the marines under his command had been at a louse end and had there fore decided to run through combat scenarios on the Marine Training Holodeck. Houseman had not minded at first as it reduced the boredom but for some reason the training mission had combat drops in them which he personally hated. His mental grumble was stopped by the Driver’s voice coming over the comm system. =^=All passengers prepare for way point zulu=^= Houseman checked that his sniper rifle was secured beside him and that his safety harness was secure. There was a sudden lurch and the feeling of weightlessness as the shuttle dived for the planet below like a falling meteorite. He really hated combat drops. Their aim was to get the shuttle from orbit to dirt side at quick as possible while trying to evade any in coming fire. He had nothing against the pilots personally he just felt that they took unnecessary risks with his life. There was a sudden jolt and he was flung against his harness that kept him secure into this seat. Two icons illuminated above his head. The first was a fasten seatbelt sign the other was of a stickman vomiting into a bag. =^=Ladies and Gentalmen this Pilot Officer Kemp from the flight deck. The Captain has put on the fasten seat belt sign due to a small bit of turbulence we are expecting…=^= Houseman came off his seat before being slammed back into it. “Humph.” “Small bit my…” he muttered to him self. =^=...so if you could refrain from moving around the cabin it would be greatly appreciated. It any one dose fell the need to vomm then please don’t make a mess as the crew chief takes a grim view of vomit on the upholstery=^= Houseman looked at the crew chief in mention, which was fast asleep strapped into his chair. He watched the small altimeter on the bulk head above him spin down faster and faster as the hurtled towards the ground. ~All right for some~ Houseman tried to relax and let his body ride with the turbulence but he kept having his helmet slammed into the side of his chair. He heard the engines begin to howl and the shuttle shake even more. =^=This is your Captain speaking from the flight deck. We are about to land. Please put your seats in the up right position and fold your tray tables into the seat backs in front of you=^= He heard some mention where they would like to put the tray tables as some one else spoke up. “Well I think I’m going to complain to the company. The in flight movie was rubbish and the food was a bit bland for my taste.” Houseman grinned at the comment from the marine next to him. =^= Would all passengers please remain seated until the shuttle has come to a complete halt before disembarking and from all of us on the flight deck we thank you for flying Jarhead Airways and look forward to flying with us again soon=^= ~Not if I can help it~ Houseman was about to say something nasty but the shuttles engines howled louder as the shuttle slammed down onto the planet. Suddenly the safety harness unbuckled and he stood up. He grabbed his rifle and hurred with the other marines off the shuttle and onto the planet. Relaxed and casual banter from the marine pilot wasn't particularly regulation, but as a means to easing oneself into a drop mission, albeit holographically simulated, it was good for starters. "Did he just say what I thought he'd said?", said Andre, returning his attention to Houseman. Houseman though, simply rolled his eyes and then sealed his helmet. =^=All passengers prepare for way point zulu=^= Came the second announcement, this time more in keeping with tradition. Andre followed Houseman's lead and sealed his helmet also, then he drew his III-C across his chest and held it firmly as the drop ship began it's manaeuvering immediately prior to the harsh decent planetside that would soon follow. Immediately it did so, his guts shifted up towards his diaphram in response to the rapid dive, then they settled into a more normal position as the pilot levelled off slightly and then guided the ship down towards whatever particular hell Kowalski had decided was necessary for them to hone their skills in. Which reminded him, where the hell was Kowalski anyway? =^=Ladies and Gentalmen this is Pilot Officer Kemp from the flight deck. The Captain has put on the fasten seat belt sign due to a small bit of turbulence we are expecting…=^= ~What the...~ "Turbulence!... Did he say TURBULENCE?", snapped Vetiinsky in surprise. Houseman simply jumped in response and then muttered something to himself whilst the pilot continued on in his relaxed, and comical manner describing vomit procedures and how mad the Chief would be if anyone soiled the upholstery. The decent then quickened somewhat and Andre found himself slammed up against the restraints at his shoulders as the ship dived again. "I hate these rollercoaster decents", said Vetinsky to nobody in particular. The pilot was then back on the line again with his usual diatribe. =^=This is your Captain speaking from the flight deck. Better that than ruin the upholstery after all! "Add my name to that House, next time, maybe we can opt for Disney's Dumbo", said Andre as the pilot piped up yet again. =^= Would all passengers please remain seated until the shuttle has come to a complete halt before disembarking and from all of us on the flight deck we thank you for flying Jarhead Airways and look forward to flying with us again soon=^= ~Yeah, sure~ thought Andre as his harness retracted and he stood in readiness for the ramps opening, his III-C at the ready, as he wondered what would be outside of them. (Reply any) (Posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre – Marine Training Holodeck – Marine, Corporal Houseman – 10:53) "Hey, maybe we'll get to see a flying Elephant"..... Houseman grinned at Vetinski. “We should be so lucky.” They moved out of the hold and into the bridge sun light. The sight in front of him was a strange one. There were green rolling fields as far as the eye could see and in the centre of the field in front of him like a stain on a white floor was a low heavily armoured bunker with automated sentry guns already turning to face the threat. ~Well this is definately different~ “Move forward, take the bunker…” The rest of the sergeants sentence was drowned out by the take off and landing of the other shuttles. As he ran forward he heard the faint sound of popping and looked up to see trails of smoke zooming over his head. There was a serious of flashes and the bunker disappeared in a dense clouded of smoke. He dug his heels into the soft ground as he sped up the pace. He knew that the smoke had other elements in it that would temporally blind the automated sentry guns but only for a short time. He swung his sniper rifle onto his shoulder and pulled out his pistol. There was no way of shooting out the targeting sensors on the sentry guns as the smoke would have the same effect on his rifles scope. He ran head long into the smoke, weapon raised prepared for anything untoward. Within a few steps the smoke was so thick that he could just see his pistol out in front of him. Luckily for him the heads up display in his helmet was still working and he diligently followed the way points it indicated. Sure enough within a minute he reached a pair of large reinforced doors. “Demos, give me a hole.” At the sergeant’s words two marines moved forward to place breaching charges to the door as the rest formed up on either side. Vetinski was the point man and he was number two. “Fire in the hold!” Houseman closed one eye and opened his mouth so that he would not be affected by the flash of the explosion or the over pressure that it caused. The door vanished in a cloud of dust. ~Here we go~ He followed Vetinski through the dust and into the interior of the bunker. (Reply any marine) (Posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre - Training Holodeck - Marine, Andre Vetinski - 10:54) Vetinsky looked to Houseman as the smoke cleared from the doorway. The blast, provided by your local demolitions experts had peeled back a large extent of the door, it's jagged edges glowing from the heat generated by the phased charge. Vetinski peered inside, his trained eyes picking up the layout within seconds, two coridoors leading off at forty five degree angles, a set of stairs leading up a gantry to the left. Vetinski raised his III-C upwards, the TACOM picking up two targets which were duly designated, he then squeezed the trigger, two pulses of blue light streaking forth to the accompaniment of a cry from the targets as they collapsed, and then hit the floor. Andre scanned again, it was clear... "Moving", he called, and then stepped into the bunker, being careful of course of any laser traps that may have been set within the periphery. The shattered concrete crunched under Vetinski's heavy boots as he moved on, the rest of the Marines following suit immediately behind until they were within the bunker. Vetinsky then turned to the House, who was busy scanning the area through a great deal of dust. "Sir, intelligence shows a command structure ahead and to the left, surprisingly, I have no viable targets on my scope", said Vetinski, his mind wandering now to what Kowalski had planned for them. (Reply Blake) (Posted by Paul Davies) (USS Spectre - Bridge - CO, Captain T'Vhor and CEO, H'Chir - 12:22) The Captain had by now returned to the bridge and had relieved the First officer of the centre chair accordingly, Williams had then occupied his seat to the right giving a brief report as he did so. (Reply Williams, IYW) The Captain nodded. So far, everything was going to plan and the running repairs were proceeding as expected. Whilst in his ready room, the Captain had just been in conversation with Admiral Alexander regarding the situation at Sol. It would seem that most of the traffic had already been identified as legitimate but even so, the Captain had an unnerving feeling about it all, after all, there was a ship out there that could effectively assume the identity of any vessel it so chose, what was to say that it wasn't one of the 'legitimate' vessels trafficking around Earth already! The Captain thought's on the matter though were brought abruptly to an end by the communication from Engineering that had just come through, it was the CEO himself and he sounded somewhat..... flustered. Let me know when you are ready to begin", said the Captain. =/\=Aye sir, like I said it won't be for an hour or so anyway, I'm still alligning the phase induction circuits... hey ho=/\= The Captain raised an eyebrow once again in typical Vulcan fashion. "Not as yet Mr Williams", said the Captain, "Admiral Alexander has assured me that security is such that our 'target', as you say, should not be able to enter the Sol system undetected", he added, clearly of the opinion now that he found that somewhat assured assessment flawed. He then went on to clarify why that might be... "It should be remembered that we are dealing with a highly advanced piece of technology, and as such, it is not wise to assume that we have an impregnable net in place to catch a foe so equipped", said the Captain. (Reply Williams) "All of the available data on the ETHOS system is available to you Andrew, you may of course feel free to discuss any of this with your sister if you feel that that might help", said the Captain, "in the interim however, Commander Sprak and Ensign Tolqu have a viable detection option available...... should Lieutenant Isengard prove unable to detect our target via more subtle means", he added. "This also, is available for your scrutiny" (Reply Williams, Any) (Posted by Alan) (Transport Shuttle Delta 3 - Bridge - Perra Tolqu - 14:09) Perra checked the scanners for the fifth time, she knew she had shaken of the Bolean patrol half an hour ago, but habits were habits. She had stolen the transporter after dumping her vessel from her last misssion for the Orion Syndicate. In the cold clarity of her being, she knew that the time had come. But she owed many of her aquired skills to the Orion Syndicate, plus she had plans to use them if all elsed failed. So after her meeting back on the Starbase, she had terminated her latest mark, with quick and presice leathality. Now she had plans of her own to fufill, Perra knew that she had to get within signal range to accomplish her next part. She plotted her course and hit the panel as the shuttle blasted in warp. ~Soon i'll be in range of that poor little cadet, how fortunate he was placed upon the Spectre ~ Perra sat back and smirked at her brilliance. She basked in her forthcoming glory, as she settled back she closed her eyes, and dreamed dreams of glory, of torture and mayhen, of the down fall of Teverine and all those around him.
