He gave a big sigh as he looked around and realised where he was standing. ~Well this is just grate. It’s not like they could not find us any further away from the bridge~ He tapped his suits comm system. “Twinning to Porsa I have Kurrik, we are back on board and we have found some new friends.” He paused as the reply of static hissed through the comm system. He looked over at Kurrik and shook his head. “Well that’s just grate. It looks like we have a walk to the bridge.” (Reply Kurrik) (Reply Kurrik, any) (Posted by Robbie) (ATV Garallon - Bridge - Academy Cadet Porsa - 17:32) "So", said Porsa, "what's your story? Where the hell have you been hiding all this time and how come you managed to evade internal sensors?” "I’m security” said Max, "I programmed the internal sensors to ignore my biosigns." Really? Thought Porsa. Was that even doable? If she recalled, Udet had scored high marks in the Tactical evaluation section on a recent academy test, Porsa knew that but making yourself invisible was a new one on her. OK, so he'd managed to blind the sensors but that still didn't answer everything. "So why didn't you show yourself earlier, Max?", she queried. "We've been in this place for days and you only just show up now. What gives?", she asked. (Reply Udet) Porsa nodded. The man had initially come at her with a phasor asking strange questions about SE5's and enemy lines. Anything was possible under the circumstances perhaps. Max continued on. "Still, we need to figure out a way to either get the ship out of this whatever the hell it is, or at least to get a message out with enough power that Starfleet will send someone to rescue us.", he stated. Porsa nodded again. "And we need to find Kurrik and Twinnings", she added, glancing to the ship still sitting off their starboard aspect as though knowing deep down that that was more than likely where they both were right now. "Well, if we can get impulse going, that will at least point us in the right direction", said Max. "We could always put ourselves into stasis, then in 100 years or so when we finally get back where we are supposed to be we at least won’t have suffocated or gone crazier" "Are you kidding me!", exclaimed Porsa, "A hundred years or so! May I remind you that our power is failing. How will we run stasis chambers on zero power?", she asked. "And... and.. a hundred freaking years!" “Yeah, 100 years is a lot, but I’m already a half millennia out-of-date, what’s another century give or take?", answered Max. Porsa fell silent. Of course, this was the guy that had disappeared in time. At one time he had been deemed a bit of a chronological novelty and more than just a tad popular with the academy historians. Clearly though, Max seemed more intent right now on getting the two of them out of the void and not too concerned at all about Kurrik and Twinnings! There was no way though that she was going to go anywhere without them. "I don't have a hundred years to spare, Max. And you still haven't answered my question about the others", said a confused Porsa. "Hey, its better than the alternative, dying in the void. Besides, you never know, someone could find us sooner than a century", offered Max. Porsa let out a heavy sigh and then looked again to the viewscreen longingly. Something told her that there was something going on over there that might get them out of this mess sooner rather than later, and she was hardly ready to step into a stasis chamber yet. Not when there was hope to make it out before a hundred years or so had elapsed she wasn't! "Ok", she said, brushing another errant hair from her eyes. "How about we work out a way to bring the external communications array back online. That way, we can kill two birdswith one stone. We can find out who our friends are over there and whether they might be able to help us, AND we can try and get a message out to anyone outside of the void", she added. "It certainly seems preferable to sleeping for a hundred years anyway" (Reply Udet) (Posted by Alan) (ATV Garallon - Bridge - Academy Cadet Udet - 17:35) "So why didn't you show yourself earlier, Max?", she queried. "We've been in this place for days and you only just show up now. What gives?", she asked. ³I thought I was evading the British and French, tried to wait them out as long as I could. Things were, fuzzy." Porsa nodded. The man had initially come at her with a phasor asking strange questions about SE5's and enemy lines. Anything was possible under the circumstances perhaps. "It certainly seems preferable to sleeping for a hundred years anyway" ³We could try to boost the power of a regular communicator. S.O.S. is simple and just about anyone¹s computers should recognize it.² (Reply Porsa) (Submitted by Andrew) (ATV Garallon - Bridge - Academy Cadet Porsa - 17:39) Porsa pondered what Udet had been suggesting. Stasis! Of all the things. OK, the man seemed to be a veritable genius in the classroom if his marks at the academy were anything to go by, but in the real world! "It certainly seems preferable to sleeping for a hundred years anyway", she had responded, in regards her own suggestion to getting the external Comms back online. "We could try to boost the power of a regular communicator. Looks like its only a few kilometers, offered Max. Porsa pursed her lips and shrugged. It was an option of course, but the void itself was playing havok with everything on board, including the personal communicators. Or was it just the void messing with their heads and making them believe that it was affecting everything? Porsa thought about that for a moment. Christ! What if they were not even in the Void? What if EVERYTHING was an illusion. She looked at Max, who seemed right now to be studying one of the power consoles. What if even HE was an illusion? "Well, what about using the external lighting?", he said, "We could flash external lighting on and off in morse code. S.O.S. is simple and just about anyone's computers should recognize it." "Max, are you for real?", asked Porsa, "I mean, are you really here?" (Reply Udet) "I'm sorry", said Porsa, "It's this place. I'm not sure of anything at the moment. So many hallucinations.", she added, smiling just briefly at a thought that had just entered her mind. "I mean, can you believe I've been seeing Dragons on the Garallon? Flesh n blood Dragons!" (Reply Udet) Porsa stopped contemplating any further. Well, at least about the illusions anyway, if indeed they were illusions that is. A person could go crazy thinking about that. ~Crazy thoughts. Crazy damned thoughts~ "So, flashing a light?", she said, thinking about Udet's earlier suggestion. "Do we have the power to spare? And besides, how would we know that light even behaves the same way in this messed up place?" (Reply Udet) "It was about then that an internal sensor sounded, which was odd considering that they were apparently the only ones on board! ~Not again~ Porsa moved to the Tactical console to investigate, noting as she did so that someone appeared to be moving around on the lower decks! Hesitantly, she accessed the console and queried the computer as to who was down there. [[Es gibt keine anderen Personen an Bord andere als Kadetten Porsa und Udet, der auf der Brücke befinden]] Porsa scowled and then cursed the computer for being an ass again. It had done this before of course, no doubt another bizarre result of the void. Udet however was there immediately. Wasn't he of German descent? It didn't matter anyway as Porsa understood it. "The only personnel on board are you and I Max, and we are currently located on the bridge. Wonders never cease", she mused. (Reply Udet) "But the sensors are still saying that someone else is down there", said Porsa, "maybe it's Twinnings and Kurrik returned and they have no communications" (Reply Udet) (Posted by Alan) (USS Spectre - Engineering - ACEO, Ensign Marianne Yelick - 18:58) "Don't you see him?" He shouted and pointed to the ceiling. "The World Eater has returned. I have to kill him before he lays waste to existence." He seemed very insistent that she understand the supposed danger. She blinked twice. Which thousand versions of 'world eater' was he seeing? "This world is too big for him to eat." she tried Jake raised his arm in a crooked position, Marianne wasn't quite sure what he was trying to do. "Hey you are..." Recognition seemed to fade into the man's eyes. Marianne felt like hugging him. Goodness, act like a Mom for five seconds and suddenly you were all huggy. She opened her mouth, He held up a hand as one of them started to speak. "I know, I know. The Void reached out and sucked me in for a moment. ~I hope only for a moment.~ "I'm back now. How long was I gone?" "Only a few minutes, Ensign." Marianne answered, looking as relieved as she felt, and then paused, "What's a world eater?" (Reply any) (Posted by Lorna) (USS Spectre - Deck 13, Engineering - ACEO, Ensign Jake Haltom - 19:00) “Only a few minutes Ensign,” Yelick replied with obvious relief both in her voice and body language which changed abruptly as she posed a question. “What’s a World Eater?” “Ah…” Jake opened then closed his mouth before changing his reply with a sigh. “A huge black dragon from a holodeck game I enjoy.” He considered how much to say then decided she wouldn’t necessarily be interested in all of the details. “Creature of prophecy and immense power etc. A real wimp though for the well prepared since the game gives you allies to kick his butt with.” He looked around to see Dr. Kirien waiting impatiently and all but tapping her foot. (Reply: Yelick) Jake nodded at Michaella. “Come on Doc, let’s get you to that vantage point you wanted. I’m ready to take a break from the Void for a while.” (Reply: Michaella, any) (Posted by Charles) (USS Spectre - CEO's Office - CEO, Ensign Remae Ktell - 19:12) Remae was listening to the ACEO, it seemed she was simply doing her routine maintenance schedule and nothing overly interesting "…Which was kind of impressive since my daughter is on Hazul.", said Ensign Yelick, a little sheepish in the Bajoran’s option. He put down the PADD he was jotting on. “Okay.”, he said, switching his internal switch. He spent time on the Spectre during his first tour as the ship’s Counsellor. He examined the ACEO for a second. “I want you to know that if you need anything, you can just come to me but I won’t make you uncomfortable. No-one likes talk to the boss!”, he said and gave her a quick smile. “Anyway, as for Engineering, please carry on your routine work but I will have larger projects for you in the near future, I can see several looming problems that we’ll have to address… not only with the warp core but also parts of the Plasma Transfer Conduits.”, he said and then added, “Let’s worry about that later… unless you have anything further, that’ll be all for now.”, he said sitting down as his desk once more. (Reply from Yelick, Any) (Posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre - CEO's Office - CEO, Ensign Remae Ktell - 19:28) "Haltom here chief, what did you want to see me about?", said the ACEO. “Ensign, thanks for coming. I know you are busy but I just wanted to know what you’ve been working on in the past 12 hours and also, is there anything happening I need to know about? I’ve been out of the loop recently and I need to know before I kick off a few larger projects.”, he said as one of his legs slammed dunked itself onto the desk. It made a metallic heavy thudding sound, the other leg followed and he had them crossed. He lent back in his chair. Did the crew know or care about his fake legs? Did they know how he lost them? He was wondering if even he could remember all the details of the incident on Betazed. For a moment, he relived the experience. (Reply from Haltom, Any) (Posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre - MXO's Office – Marine, Corporal Houseman - 19:28) "You know, Rameriz has a point here" ~Ow this is just grate~ Houseman tried to hide and bewildered look that flashed across his face. "He's correct in that he can't be affected like the rest of us right now. He's a perfect control" “Yes Sir.” ~Rameriz in control! This is turning into my worst nightmare~ (Reply Rameriz, IYW) "Oh Lord gimme strength" ~You are not going to do what I think you are going to do~ "I need some down time for sure. OK, we'll deal with how you returned from your exile another time soldier. For now, you're on the away team when we get the go ahead from the CO to board the Garallon." ~Why don’t you just shoot me in the head and be done with it~ (Reply Rameriz) "Houseman, I want you to bring our photonic friend here up to speed on whats been happening of late. Fill him in on everything, do not leave anything out", said the Major. “Yes Sir.” "I hate to admit it, but if we all lose our marbles in this place, then this freakin light show will be all that stands between us and a lifetime of madness. Bring him up to speed, and make it quick. You are dismissed!" “Sir.” He saluted, then turned and walked out of the office. He turned to Rameriz when they were outside the office. “Well mate. We are here on a weird rescue mission. It looks like a academy training vessel has gone missing in the void but all reports say that it’s really heading back to earth. So the marines will go in a save the fleets behinds again as always.” He paused for a moment becoming serious. “This void it plays with your mind. Makes you think your somewhere else. Makes you see and hear things that are not there. It’s not cool that’s for sure.” (Reply Rameriz) (Reply Kowalski, Rameriz, any) (Posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre - Outside the MXO's Office – Holo-Marine Jose Rameriz - 19:30) Rameriz had some semblance of awareness when it came to tactics and one of them was 'When you're winning, shut up and let yourself win.' Not only was he not getting turned back off, but he was getting to be on the away team AND responsible for stuff. He was happy to stand on spot and only bounce up and down on his toes a little He also wondered what the madness had done to the MXO. Jose was pretty sure Jose would never put Jose in charge of anything and Kowalski was a much sharper cookie. He was not, however, going to rock the boat. When Houseman saluted and walked out of the MXO's office, Rameriz gave his own letter perfect salute and scurried after the corporal. "How comes you haven't been promoted yet?" Rameriz asked his fellow marine's back. "I means, it gotta have been YEARS.." (Reply Houseman, iyw :D ) “Well mate. We are here on a weird rescue mission. It looks like a academy training vessel has gone missing in the void but all reports say that it’s really heading back to earth. So the marines will go in a save the fleets behinds again as always.” Jose nodded along, that sounded about normal. But then, he'd scanned the reports and log files, he just wanted to hear how Houseman would explain things. If only because Houseman's explanation wouldn't put him to sleep like the Captain's reports had. Talk about boring, whose brilliant idea was it to put a Vulcan in command anyway? “This void it plays with your mind. Makes you think your somewhere else. Makes you see and hear things that are not there. It’s not cool that’s for sure.” "I dunnos man," Jose said, "C'mon, insta vacation!" (Reply Houseman) "Not evens a dancin' girl? Man, this place is so offs Rameriz's guide of places to blows yer pay." Rameriz grumbled. (Reply Houseman) "So uh.." Rameriz looked around as if there was a view to be looking at, ".. What was the training vessels doin' outs here anyways? I means, far from home, no good curries to be found, computer's probably gones senile.." Fleeters had a lot of problems, but leaving their kids lying around wasn't generally one of them! (Reply Houseman, any) (Posted by Lorna) (USS Spectre - CEO’s Office, Engineering - ACEO, Ensign Jake Haltom - 19:30) “Ensign thanks for coming,” The chief began conversationally. “I know you are busy but I just wanted to know what you’ve been working on in the last twelve hours and also, is there anything happening I need to know about? I’ve been out of the loop recently and I need to know before I kick off a few larger projects.” Jake was formulating an answer when Ktell’s booted foot rang on the desktop which distracted him for an instant. He watched as the CEO’s eyes got a far off look and he shrugged. The chief had indeed been ‘out of the loop’ as he put it but it wasn’t any of his business why. All that mattered was that for now he appeared to be focused in on the job and ready to take the department in hand once again. “As for the last twelve hours,” Jake began. “I wasn’t happy going into the Void with untested components so we ran exhaustive failure tests on all of the retrofitted equipment added at the starbase and almost all got a clean bill of health. There were some Matter/Anti matter intermix injectors that had to be recalibrated and Ensign Smith took care of those.” He paused briefly. “I just ran a series of tests of the fuel to power output ratio on the warp engines and it was within spec but we have a slight imbalance in the harmonics of the dilithium crystal matrix and I’m not sure if that is due to equipment or something caused by conditions in the Void, I was going to begin looking into that immediately.” (Reply: Ktell) He nodded. “I was aware that the maintenance for the plasma conduits was upcoming, that will take the warp engines offline for several hours obviously. Are there any specific personnel you would like added to the maintenance team for that task?” (Reply: Ktell) “Roger that chief. Is there anything else you would like to make me aware of before I begin running tests on the dilithium crystal matrix?” (Reply: K’tell, any) (Posted by Charles) (USS Spectre - CEO's Office, Engineering - CEO, Ensign Remae Ktell - 19:32) Remae listened to the report from the ACEO; legs up and taking a relaxed attitude, the CEO was thinking to himself how life was a lot simpler down in the bowels of the ship, rather than up on the Bridge. Haltom reported that the ship was performing well in the void, he was impressed with their work while he wasn’t around. “Thanks Ensign, please proceed with your investigation of the imbalance at your own discretion. Just keep me informed.”, he said. Ensign Haltom reported that the plasma conduits would need maintenance soon. “I’ll take care of it.”, he said upon the question about who was going to clean the plasma conduits. It was a dirty job, one that he didn’t look forward too but he wasn’t that kind of CEO, someone who left the crew do the bad jobs while he sat back and took the glory. “Roger that chief. Is there anything else you would like to make me aware of before I begin running tests on the dilithium crystal matrix?” Remae thought about that one as he stood up. As he did so, he simply threw that question out there, “You’ve not been experiencing any strange hallucinations or the like?” It wasn’t meant to be funny, but the Bajoran cocked his head to one side... he was playing a hunch, but then he also added, “... if that’s not a personal question.”. He took a suit out of the nearby storage locker, this one would prevent him from covered in plasma residue as he waited for a reply. (Reply from Haltom, Any) (Posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre - CEO's Office, Engineering - ACEO, Ensign Jake Haltom - 19:35) As the CEO stood to his feet he asked a question off-handedly. “You’ve not been experiencing any strange hallucinations or the like?” Jake eyed the man suspiciously for an instant as he made his way to a locker but the question was delivered innocently enough. Unless Ktell was setting him up of course which he wouldn't put past him. “... if that’s not a personal question." He shrugged indifferently. "Of course I have though my hallucinations haven't been as dangerous or as terrifying as most it would seem. The only one that lasted for any length of time happened after Dr Kirien got you back in motion." (Reply: Remae) Jake nodded thoughtfully as he looked away. I've seen some of the cases that have gotten to sick bay. It's not a pretty sight." He noted the chief was getting dressed and decided now would be a good time to make his exit. "I'll let you know what the test results show as soon as I have them in hand. Later chief." (Reply.: Ktell, any) (Posted by Charles) (USS Spectre - CEO's Office, Engineering - CEO, Ensign Remae Ktell - 19:37) "The only one that lasted for any length of time happened after Dr Kirien got you back in motion." “Hmm, interesting and I’ve not had any yet. I wonder if that means I lack any imgaination?”, he said sounding wounded, as if he was being left out of the fun. Remae considered his words a little more, all the crew were having hullications. Did he miss something? Did everyone just expect to have these? He had missed a lot. Jake recounted some of the effects of those in Sickbay and then said he would report back after the tests. “... Later Chief.", he said leaving Remae to get dressed into the haz-suit. The Bajoran had one leg in when he decided to go and see the CO. He let the suit fall to the floor as he left. (Reply from Any) (Posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre - Bridge - CEO, Ensign Remae Ktell - 20:03) Remae had managed to sidestep his promise to clean the plasma grid but he would get to it later. For right now, he had just stepped onto the Bridge. He wanted a word with the CO regarding what was going on. “Captain, do you have a minute? I need to speak to you.”, he said seriously to the Captain. (Reply T’Vhor, Any) (Posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre - Bridge - CO, Captain T'Vhor - 20:05) With the recent contacts looking promising, and the ship now headed towards them, the Captain gave the order to ready the Marines for departure, Kowalski replying with a succinct 'Sir, we're on it'. Indeed, it sounded very much as though the Major was itching to get this done now, perhaps partly due to the fact that some of his own men had become compromised to the point of 'friendly fire', and maybe also because the man himself was tense, which was not good at all. Kowalski had blown a gasket only once during his time that he had served as Marine XO for the ship, and the Captain knew that that had weighed heavily upon him. Was he tense now because the situation here was similar? Externally induced hallucinations and all. Or was he just tense? The Captain gave him the benefit of the doubt as he felt the touch of Riven once more in his head in response to the network they had all created between them. Riven would be becoming tired now, he knew that, but right now they needed to maintain that safety net lest the entire crew go insane. The arrival of the CEO on the bridge took the Captain away from his thoughts just briefly. “Captain, do you have a minute? I need to speak to you.”, he said. "Of course", said the Captain, "would you prefer privacy in this matter, or is that not a problem?", he added. (Reply Ktell) (Reply Ktell) (Posted by Alan) (USS Spectre - Marine Deck - Holo-Marine Jose Rameriz - 20:06) The only thing in the known universe more dangerous than a bored marine was a bored marine with weaponry. Fortunately for the universe, one Jose Rameriz hadn't been granted access to the weapons locker and he couldn't be assed to try and hack it. He wasn't a hacker, he was just a computer program. He was fairly convinced that if he really tried he could convince the computer to do what he wanted, but that also sounded like a lot of egghead work and he wasn't too interested in that. It sounded even more boring than sitting and waiting for instructions to go blow something up. With a lack of weaponry, Rameriz had found a yo-yo. "Dids you knows that these used to be weapons?" He asked the unlucky marine who happened to be sitting next to him. She rolled her eyes and against her better judgment engaged in conversation. "Is that what you plan to use on the Borg then?" There may have been some sarcasm in the statement. Rameriz was very practiced at ignoring indications that people didn't want to talk to him, were tired of talking to him, or just thought he was plan crazy and wanted to be left alone. "No ways, chica." He replied. "I cans barely gets it to come back up three times." He demonstrated, which was lost on his fellow marine, since she'd put her nose back into the PADD she was reading. He ended up getting the yo-yo to cooperate three times before he was stuck manually winding it back up. "But seriouslies, there was these dudes that were so goods with yo-yos that they could like break noses and bones and stuff. Very quick and deadly. I've seen vidz, way cool." The marine sighed and looked at him, "You actually watch 2ds?" "Sures. Sits on couch, eats some nuts, watch some old vidz. No movement or participations required." She was looking at him with even more disdain. "Don'ts get me wrong, I like running in the holo's and blowing stuffs up, and all that, but I don't exactly rate lots of holo time." Probably because he WAS a hologram, "So I makes do, y'know?" "You could practice?" She said. "I'm a hologram, chica. This is as good as it gets." He wasn't actually sure about that. Maybe he could master a yo-yo or learn how to use a plasma rocket with some degree of accuracy, but it sounded like an awful lot of work. "Couldn't someone just program this stuff into you then?" She asked, almost seeming curious and interested. "They trieds. It fried my programs and deleted me. Well, one of me. There were lots of me at one point." She actually shuddered at that thought. "You got erased. How tragic." She turned back to her PADD. Rameriz sighed the sigh of the truly misunderstood and abused. He was alive, wasn't he? Didn't he deserve to live? At least, he thought he was alive. Wasn't there this whole if you think you are, then you are thing? He'd tried that at being good at blur hockey, but it had ended up with him in sickbay, so maybe he was remembering it wrong. It seemed that his fellow marines no more appreciated him now than they had a few years ago. He considered flitting through the computer systems and spying on other parts of the ship but he had to dematerialize to do it and Houseman had said, quite firmly, "STAY PUT!" and technically Houseman outranked him. How sad was that? Outranked by a private. Rameriz could only hope he got to blow stuff up soon. (Reply Any) (Written by Lorna) (USS Spectre - Bridge - CEO, Ensign Remae Ktell - 20:09) "Of course.”, said the CO, responding to Remae’s walking onto the Bridge and asking to talk. The CEO looked around at the Bridge and the familiarity of it kicked in, with a single glance he took in the situation, speed, status of the weapons, defenses, the people around, the viewscreen and it was clear something was happening around. The Captain didn’t seem to mind having a private chat so Remae simply lowered his head to look at the Ready Room, he indicated without speaking where he wanted to talk. “Captain, I don’t want to pull you away from the Bridge and this won’t take long.”, he said and quickly recounted to T’Vhor what had happened with the engineering crew hallucinations and that somehow, he had missed out on having any and that it seemed as if this was normal to everyone around. They were just dealing with it and he didn't know why. “Anyway, I’ve missed out on that briefing, I must have been in that maintenance tube longer than I expected. Is there anything else you need from me, Captain?”, he asked, looking around. (Reply T’Vhor, Any) (Posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre - Bridge - CO, Captain T'Vhor - 20:12) "Is there anything else you need from me, Captain?”, asked the CEO, a somewhat pertinant question right now considering the apparent loss of Commander Tsukawa to the effects of the void. T'Vhor had not forgotten of course that he had once served as Remae's FO when the Bajoran had been in command of the Spectre, and right now the Captain could use some of that experience again. "Indeed there is", answered T'Vhor, glancing about the bridge just briefly. "I seem to have been robbed of my First Officer and could use your experience right now", he added. "If you are available that is?" (Reply Ktell) (Posted by Alan) (USS Spectre - Bridge - CEO, Ensign Remae Ktell - 20:20) "... If you are available that is?", concluded the CO. Remae cocked his head, “Come again?”, he said looking at the Vulcan, “I mean, I know you and I didn’t forget to notice your Vulcan ears, but, I just need to check, is that a joke?”, he said now sitting down on the couch. “Oh, I see, its your Betazoid side... it must be asserting itself. Congratulations.”, he said and then, slowly, it dawned on him and it became very clear that he wasn’t.. Remae stood up once more. “Do you know the kind of hell-storm Starfleet is going to raise when they hear about this? When they do, your chances at Admiral will fly out the airlock.”, he said now beginning to sound angry. It wasn’t at the CO, it was aimed at himself. The last thing he wanted was a command position. Not again, not after... everything. Remae continued on for about 3 more minutes before finally, he sat down again. He felt much better. He hadn’t given T’Vhor much of a chance to talk. “Okay.”, he said... after a moment of thought, he added, “What’s wrong with Tsukawa?” (Reply from T’Vhor) “Fine. FO. For now. Temporary. What do you want me to do?”, he said and made mental plans... he was going to replicate a large set of boots, so he could kick himself all the way back to Engineering.
