"He's fine. Settling in very happily. And he wants to know when you are next coming over to see us?" "When does he want me to come see you?" He smiled, "I didn't know he cared so much." He left no room for Regan to answer before the room fell silent as Saleke stood to take the attention of all in attendance. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - CMO Angeni O. Windsong-Trommashere - 1236) Angeni sat in her seat, a lost sort of look on her face. Her padd malfunctioned at the last moment, and she did everything but break it in half to try and drain the information out. As for Dr. Vren speaking up, she almost took it as more of an insult instead of something nice...and as for how she walked into the room all cuddled up with Travis...she wanted to hurl...when she realized her jealous side was coming out and she turned her head away, embarrased and suddenly more alone than ever. She sat there as the woman continued to ramble on, and as the figure of twenty one fatalites popped out of her mouth, she wanted to reach over and smack her. She had asked Vren to give her all the figures...and she had reported down six...not twenty one...~That witch!~ When silence had finally filled the room, Angeni spoke up quietly, "I personally think that the solution to that problem would be to have contingency plans on how to get around the ship, not posting them there to twiddle their thumbs for time on end to only maybe be used. Also...the idea about the restraints...while in fact it is a good idea, you have to look at the increase of second impact injuries...which are often more fatal than slamming up against a console. I..." and she over emphasized the word 'I', "will be more than happy to send you the information on such injuries and their impact on the decision of getting the restraints...and I will also look up schematics on how to get medical crews around the ship faster..." Angeni sat back in her seat, and she only glanced towards Mason. She wanted to talk with him after the meeting, but she was so emotionally and physically drained, she could barely keep her head up for the rest of the meeting. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - ACMO Vren Marto - 1237) Marto realised that she had made a serious error in her report but before she could say anything to correct it Angeni started to speak. "I personally think that the solution to that problem would be to have contingency plans on how to get around the ship, not posting them there to twiddle their thumbs for time on end to only maybe be used. Also...the idea about the restraints...while in fact it is a good idea, you have to look at the increase of second impact injuries...which are often more fatal than slamming up against a console. I..." and she over emphasized the word 'I', "will be more than happy to send you the information on such injuries and their impact on the decision of getting the restraints...and I will also look up schematics on how to get medical crews around the ship faster..." Ignoring that for the moment she looked across at the Commander. "Sir, there seems to be a serious error in part of my report. The fatality count is wrong. It should indeed be six and not the figure I quoted. I have no idea where that figure came from, however I do apologise for my mistake." Marto sat quietly as the rest of the reports were dealt with and barely heard them. She was concentrating, in her mind, not on what Angeni had said, but the tone of voice she had used and the look in her eyes. ~Enough is enough. I have been patient with her attitude to me for a long time now, but Prophets, not any longer. This stops here and now and I am going to be the one to end it.~ ~Right after this meeting is over I am going to have it out with her once and for all and insist that if she cannot work with me then she must be the one to go to the Commander, ask for me to be transferred and explain her reasons to him.~ Tuning back in half way through Lt Ketal's report she sat there her face a mask trying to control the absolute fury she felt. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - CEO 3/O Lt. Mason Garrett - 1238) Saleke wrapped up his comments to the new ship's counselor before turning his attention to the CEO and spoke with a slight nod. "Lieutenant Garrett you are the last to report before Lt. Ketal." "The Mystique is in top condition," Mason started in, reporting the good news before the bad. "All systems are running at full capacity. The Zephyr is in fair condition, considering the damage she took during her confrontation with the Mystique a few days ago. All systems necessary to sustain life are fully repaired, but propulsion is inadequate. Impulse engines should be operational within twelve hours; however we're having trouble with the warp engines. One of her four anti-matter injectors was severely damaged during the confrontation a few days ago, possibly beyond our ability to repair outside of a spacedock." He hated saying that but facts were facts. "The injector is causing an imbalance in the warp fields. If we don't have field stability within twenty-four hours, I've given instructions for the injector to be disabled and the warp system reset to run on the remaining three for it's trip to Geneva." -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - Commander Saleke - 1239) Saleke heard Dr. Trommashere stir and glanced sideways at the young CMO, had she had a weapon in her hand it appeared she was ready to use it as she glared with thinly disguised hatred at Dr. Vren, the Vulcan could not fathom in the least what might have caused this kind of reaction. When she spoke it was quietly but with venom in her voice. I will be more than happy to send you the information on such injuries and their impact on the decision of getting the restraints...and I will also look up schematics on how to get medical crews around the ship faster..." After speaking she sat back in her chair and lowered her head to the table, a very unbecoming posture for a senior officer. Dr. Vren chose not to acknowledge the CMO's mannerism but spoke with Vulcanish cool to Saleke. "Sir, there seems to be a serious error in part of my report. The fatality count is wrong. It should indeed be six and not the figure I quoted. I have no idea where that figure came from, however I do apologise for my mistake." Saleke nodded, that cleared up the discepancy in the figures but not the obvious animosity in the room. The Vulcan was well aware of Dr. Mias' dealings with Angeni as all his meetings with the crew were reported and it appeared that despite the Doctors best efforts he was still far from finding a resonable middle ground for her psyche and the FO had heard rumblings of tension between the two medical officers. After his earlier talk with her and the promotion of Marto it was logical to believe Angeni might have shown the woman some respect but the Vulcan was learning again how emotion uncontrolled could strike unawares, he came to a decision that this needed to come to a screeching halt and to do so there was an object lesson needed. "The Mystique is in top condition," Mason started in. "All systems are running at full capacity. The Zephyr is in fair condition, considering the damage she took during her confrontation with the Mystique a few days ago. All systems necessary to sustain life are fully repaired but propulsion is inadequate. Impulse engines should be operational within twelve hours; however we're having trouble with the warp engines. The injector is causing an imbalance in the warp fields. If we don't have field stability within twenty-four hours, I've given instructions for the injector to be disabled and the warp system reset to run on the remaining three for it's trip to Geneva." "Very well Lieutenant, the reduction in speed can not be helped, Lt. Marks made the point in our earlier meeting with him, do what you can." He turned his attention then to Angeni. " Doctor Trommashere, " His face was stony as she raised her head from the desk. "Your attitude and posture are not commiserate with the actions of a StarFleet officer or department head of this vessel. You are excused from this briefing. I will call for you later to go over your actions and appropriate remedy." (Reply: Angeni iyw) He looked around the table as she departed, meeting the gaze of each assembled officer levelly and making it clear he would brook no argument or question, the subject was closed. He nodded to Ketal to begin his report. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - CMO Angeni O. Windsong-Trommashere - 1241) Angeni looked as if she were ready to bawl her eyes out, or kill someone...or something. Her eyes bored holes into Saleke. Her attitude? He had another thing coming. She wasn't the one with the attitude, and to call her out in front of everyone like that...how dare he. She hated him...and she wanted out of the room as quickly as possible. She felt her eyes welling up with hurt, anguished tears, and she quickly took her padd and departed from the room, heading to her quarters to do only she knew what...but it involved packing. She got to the turbo-lift, and she stared back at the corridor from whence she came. "You won...I hope you're happy now..." She walked into the door as her tears fell down her face. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - COPS Lt. Travis Keswick - 12 42) Travis was fairly quite threw out the meeting at this point. As he just sat there taking notes as the other officers discussed the idea of seat restraints on all duty station chairs. He thought the idea was interesting idea but he could see both the sides of the Idea. It would bee a good idea and that it may help prevent injures caused by being tossed around during a emergency wether it is a fire fight or a shock wave. He could also see the negative in that it will slow down reaction time incase of a medical or security emergency and if a console where to explode a person would not be-able to get away in time and that in it self could cause more problems. Travis took notes as as the meeting proceeded as Lt. Mason gave his report that the ship was back at 100%. but Travis could not help but fell the tension between Doctor Trommashere and Marto which made it hard for him because Angeni was a close friend and Marto was going to be his wife so he hoped that they might work out whatever might be going o between them and soon. Travis attention quickly turned to back Saleke as he dismissed Angeni from the meeting. Travis looked back over at Saleke as She left the briefing room and it was clear by the look on his face that the subject was closed and it was time to move on with the briefing. As Lt. Ketal continued with his report. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - CEO Masaon Garrett and Ensign Cynthia Darson - 1243) Having spoken he stopped but did not sit down, "The floor is open for questions or comments." "Science teams are waiting to be sent down to the surface," Cindy said keeping her bottled enthusiasm out of her voice. "Where do you want us to begin, sir?" Ketal sat down as he spoke. "There are any number of habitable zones which appear optimal for study, I would suggest sending teams down to each temperate region to take samples and conduct close-proximity scans. It is not unreasonable to take precautions during the studies as the local life forms might have developed previously unencountered toxins and be dangerous for our bio-chemistry. Are there any further questions?" "A suggestion in the form of a question, lieutenant - and ensign," Mason piped in looking from Ketal to Cindy then back. "You said the planet's magnetosphere underwent an anomolous shift three years ago. Can you send a probe three light years from this system with sufficient equipment to collect more in-depth data of this magnetosphere shift you mentioned? The probe could effectively provide a view of precisely what happened three years ago." Cindy's eyes lit up at hearing the idea and her mind raced with possibilities. "The lieutenant read my mind. Science is preparing a DCE-250 spectrascope for that very purpose." "You're one step ahead of me." "I prefer to call it great minds thinking alike," she told him then realized her voice might have sounded a little to flirty for a command level staff meeting and, trying not to blush, she assumed an air of sobriety. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - ACONN Ensign (jg) Andreas Schliegler - 12:44) Marto nodded her head. "I would think that we should indeed have a preliminary report ready for you by then Sir. You can then decide whether we need to look at the subject further or not." Turning to the 2/0 he continued. "Lt. Dema, as you are charged with securing the ship during a battle I will expect you to go over seating restraints with Ensign Schliegler and determine if there are any varieties that may be useful under the conditions which you described and forward your recommendations to me for consideration." He looked from one officer to another after completing his orders. "I will expect the three of you to work closely together on this line of inquiry." He then looked about the table signalling the end of the subject. "Medical, Counselling and Engineering will make their reports followed by Lieutenant Ketal and the Science department." He leaned back once again. "Proceed." Andreas nodded as he regarded Dema and the Doctor. Then he realised the impact of the FO's decision and his smile froze. It would mean many, many more hours on the holodeck plus he had to find a way to bring the rough-boy over to their side. His face contorted for a second as he considered that since Dema was his superior, Andreas would have to use diplomacy. He sighed softly as he wondered if he actually could do that, since that was a completely new concept to him. It might be easier to catch the 2/0 in some compromising situation and then blackmail him into accepting the proposal. Andreas narrowed his eyes to slits as he examined his opponent's face closely. Then he sighed. ~Not a chance, he even looks like Mr. Bl**dy Perfect. Perhaps I should give this diplomacy-mumbo-jumbo a try then?~ The fly-boy did not follow the rest of the meeting particularly well as his mind raced backwards and forwards, trying to come up with some winning solution. He had his ears open but his mind didn't really register the conversations until his mind sent out an urgent warning. It wasn't a word or sentence that disturbed him but the tone with which it was said. He first thought it was anger, but Andreas had been on the receiving end of plenty angry shouts. But those shouts had invariably been hot and fiery. This tone, however, was the complete opposite of them. It was cold, no, icy even. Icy and lethal. Andreas shivered involuntarily at the cold hatred in that voice. He looked up to find the source and found it to be the CMO. Narrowing his eyes he studied her from the side and wondered who this barrage of hatred was directed at. His gaze swivelled from one person to the other until it rested on the back of the head of Marto. Of all the heads, apart from the FO's of course, that was the one that moved least, if it moved at all. Andreas studied the back of the ACMO's head and noticed the veins in her neck standing out. ~Bingo!~ His gaze went from ACMO to CMO to ACMO again until he noticed Travis looking at them at well with a undefinable look in his eyes. Andreas had heard that Travis was close to Marto, quite close in fact. But somehow he had expected a different reaction from a boyfriend if his girlfriend was attacked. The fly-boy sighed as he shook his head slowly. ~Caught up in the middle of the crossfire, my friend?~ he thought with pity. The CMO slumped down as if broken down totally and Andreas looked at the FO to see his reaction. However, the ACMO spoke up and Andreas listened not to the words but to the voice. There was a degree of hotness in her voice, of anger, but she masked it quite well. Andreas might not have picked it up if he hadn't been expecting to hear it. "The Mystique is in top condition," someone suddenly said and looking at the source, he found it to be the CEO who did his report like nothing had happened. It broke the mood a bit and the air seemed less stifling to Andreas. He looked back at the button-boy and watched his reactions closely when the CMO was removed from the meeting. He shook his head again and looking over to the dismissing face of the FO. Andreas listened half-heartedly to what the CSO brought up. For one, he wasn't really that interested in planets, no matter how paradise-like they might seem. He was a fly-boy not a landlubber. He started wondering though if the system would have a few nice natural obstructions for flying. He definitely needed to give a few flight-officers some flying lessons, show them a few tricks and see how they would cope with pressure. There was one crewman he had met on the shuttle deck that he had high hopes for. But he needed some time with him alone to see if he would be just an eternal talent or if he could actually become a master-flyer. And there were also the simulations that needed to be done and a report to be written.. and...and..and. Andreas shook his head. No downtime for him this time. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - Commander Saleke - 1250) After a brief discussion following the report from the science team Saleke leaned forward and clasped his hands upon the table as he looked about the group. "We have then a planet which is by all accounts perfectedly suited for the developement of higher life forms yet no evidence of any, Mr. Ketal are we looking at the case of a lack of time for the proper evolutionary developement of higher life forms? According to my calculations it would seem to be the case." Ketal gave a brief nod as he thumped his index finger inaudibly against the table. "I and the science department agree with your assessment Commander, on the scale of evolutionary dervelopement an estimated eight million years from the formation of the systems sun would tend to rule out the existence of intelligent life upon the planet but as you also know it would tend to rule out life of any form as well." Saleke's chair creaked a bit as he shifted in it. "Indeed. 8.3 million years solar time is quite inadequate for the formation of any life within the system much less the plant and animal life which has shown up on the scans." "There are other factors which must be taken into account also," Ketal noted. "A matter/anti-matter surge has permeated this system and much of this sector that is very recent, less than three hundred years and almost yesterday on the reckoning of the cosmic scale. Also the planets' magnetosphere has also shown an increasing change in its arc within the last three years." Saleke's eyes narrowed slightly at that, it was normally indicative of planetary instability. "It has been conjectured that the planet might have terraformed by another race which would account for the inconsitencies between planetary age and species evolution." Saleke sat back then as the last of the pertinent information was given. "We have then a planet which is enigmatic, showing evolution far before its time yet also showing signs of instability far too early, this is illogical and must be investigated." He looked at each officer in turn. "Comments then on what we have heard so far as well as any suggestions." ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - 2O Lt.(sg) CT/S Jason Dema - 1251) "Comments then on what we have heard so far as well as any suggestions." "Can't we send a probe to the deeper layers, where this planet might be untouched by the terraforming? Not that it is my string point, but I do beliave that terraforming is more surface-directed if I'm not mistaken. Also, as usual, the security team chechs the place, but it might be a good idea to bring an experienced science-officer along." Jason made it well clear for it to be an experienced one, as he tried not to have Taya on the team. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - CSO, Lt. (jg) Ketal 1255) "A suggestion in the form of a question, lieutenant - and ensign. "You said the planet's magnetosphere underwent an anomolous shift three years ago. Can you send a probe three light years from this system with sufficient equipment to collect more in-depth data of this magnetosphere shift you mentioned? The probe could effectively provide a view of precisely what happened three years ago." Cynthia Darson seemed to unfreeze at Mason's words and her voice spoke up gaining strength quickly. "The lieutenant read my mind. Science is preparing a DCE-250 spectrascope for that very purpose." "You're one step ahead of me." Mason replied. "I prefer to call it great minds thinking alike," She said with a winsome edge in her voice. Ketal noted a that this repartee did little to lighten the atmosphere of the room which had gone somber at Angeni's dismissal though it did have a slight effect. "I have settled the landing zones subject to the Commanders approval." He noted. Saleke nodded. "Proceed." The zones mentioned by Ketal were framed on the rotating planet as he called them off. "The first zone of significance according to readings is a sub-tropical rain forest near the planets equator at zone 153, the second is an ocean bay located in the northern hemisphere in a temperate region, zone 122." He noted the FO's nod. "Zone three is located in the southern hemisphere, a stretch of forest land bordering a lake at location 43 and fourthly a region of desert and scrubland in the Northeastern sector of the largest continent at area 18." Saleke digested this for an instant. "Landing party one shall be led by Lt. Keswick with Dr. Vren, Ensign Darson and two security personnel in attendance. Landing Party two will be led by Lt. Dema with Ensign Taya and Ensign Physioc and two security personnel. Landing party three shall be led by Lt. Garrett with Dr. Trommashere and Ensign Harper with two security personnel. The content of the landing party for region four I shall rule on and notify the affected members this evening. Transports shall begin tomorrow morning." he looked about at the assembly. "Is there anything else that should be considered at this time?" -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - COPS Lt. "I have never seen a planet with such a wide rang of temperatures and zones will we beadle to communicate with the other each other in different zones. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - TC Ensign (jg) Shurik Rosanov, ACEO Ensign (sg) Norman Harper- 1259) Shurik sat with interlaced fingers watching the meeting commencing. He didn't have a lot to say and the fact that he had newly transferred onto the ship and had cracked open his head his first day didn't give him any excuse to pipe in. Instead he sat quietly, taking mental notes of the personalities of the carious officers present and took notes on his padd of the information concerning the crew, the ship and so on. He looked up as Saleke said, "Landing party one shall be led by Lt. Transports shall begin tomorrow morning." the vulcan looked about at the assembly. "Is there anything else that should be considered at this time?" Shurik leaned back. Finally he would have something important to do. He smiled inwardly, but unlike the ACEO he was able to keep his emotions behind a mask of seriousness. Norm listened silently as the issue of communication was discussed between Travis and Jason. He scribbled a note quickly on his padd before sliding it inconspicuously toward Regan. Meet me for lunch? He couldn't deny the twinge of hunger that tugged at his empty stomach. My stomach thinks my throat's been cut. He added. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - 2O Lt.(sg) CT/S Jason Dema - 1300) "Landing party one shall be led by Lt. "Is there anything else that should be considered at this time?" ~Great, I'm teamed up with Taya to a beach... ah well, maybe she won't show up again~ In the meantime Jason overheard Travis' question. "We could plant signal-enhancers when we lose communication. If that isn't enough to communicate with each other, we could always link the communication through the ship." ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - ACMO Lt (jg) Vren Marto - 1301) Marto sat listening to the conversation going on all around her regarding the planet. She hadn't said a single thing since her last comment to the Commander. She had sat as if turned to stone, with her eyes slightly downcast, as he had dismissed Angeni from the meeting, feeling not a few eyes in the room flick from Angeni to the Commander and back to herself. Ignoring them all she lifted here eyes to the hologram rotating in front of her and fixed her attention on it. Here eyes didn't move from it until Lt Ketal began explaining the various landing zones and as the team assignments were handed out Marto gave a small inward sigh of relief and studying her zone more closely began making notes on her padd. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Observation Lounge - Commander Saleke - 1345) Saleke had lingered for a bit after giving everyone their orders which made the most efficient use of the officers available resources. There were a number of people he planned on having discussions with shortly which number included Dr. Trommashere, Dr. Vren and most importantly Dr. Mias. The lounge was quiet as he tapped the com button on the table before him. "Dr. Mias are you available?" There was a moments pause before the answer came through. =^= I'm here Commander, go ahead.=^= "I need to speak with you doctor at length, please meet me in my office." There was another pregnant pause. =^= No Commander.=^= That took the Vulcan aback for a second, before he could answer Riven was speaking again, =^= As the senior counselor of this ship I am prescribing some down time for you Commander, you've been cooped up in your office or on the bridge or on duty too much lately; I'll meet you in Ten Forward. =^= Saleke forced down a slight irritation that nibbled at the edges of his conciousness, Dr. Mias could be confrontational at times but he had never outright said no to the Vulcan, at least not while deflecting him in a different direction. The Doctor's manner therefore was strange, he was being manipulative and that coupled with the reason Saleke wanted to talk to him added up to a disconcerting sum product. "Very well Doctor, I shall be there shortly." He got up from the table and made his way to the door to exit the scene of the earlier intriguing meeting. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Assistant Counsellor's Office - ACOUNS Ens(sg) Regan Alessi - 1346) Regan hurried back to her office to check her appointments for that afternoon before going to lunch. Regan noticed a new message alert flashing on her console and opened it. As she read it she pulled a face when she saw who it was from. [Miss. Alessi. I am sorry to disturb you but i am in need of some advice. When would it be conveniant for me to meet with you?] ~so Mr Physioc needs some advice~ she thought sourly. ~I wonder why he picked on me~ Still, it was her job to deal with crewmembers who came to her for help, and Regan, whatever she might personally think about anyone, was absolutely professional when it came to her work. Since the message had come in almost at the beginning of the meeting which had just ended, she decided to contact him via commbadge rather than just type a reply to him. She checked her appointments for that afternoon, and saw she had two free sessions, the earliest at 1500. At least, that was the earliest if she was going to have some lunch, and she didn't feel like coping with Mr Ashlitu Physioc on an empty stomach, not after a meeting like that one. "Counsellor Alessi to Ensign Physioc. I'm sorry not to have replied before but I was in a senior staff meeting which has only just finished. The first vacant slot I have is for 1500 this afternoon. Would that be acceptable?" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Bridge, OP's Console - AOPS/CONN, Ensign Ash Physioc - 1350) =^=Counsellor Alessi to Ensign Physioc. I'm sorry not to have replied before but I was in a senior staff meeting which has only just finished. The first vacant slot I have is for 1500 this afternoon. Would that be acceptable?=^= Came Alessi's voice over the COMM Link. Ash smiled, ~Ahhh so she replies...~ He tapped his COMM Badge and said "I was aware of your presence at the meeting, Miss. Alessi - Which is why i didnt communicate with you Via the COMM. 1500 sounds fine" Ash said, he wondered whether Alessi had took this assignment willingly or not. (Reply Alessi) Ash nodded, "I will see you then, Physioc Out" Ash tapped his COMM Badge and cut the connection. He returned to his work on the bridge, his mind still connected to the Computer.. He wasnt pleased by this but hopefully Miss. Alessi would be able to help him... ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Stardate: 2407.02.04 (USS Mystique - Assistant Counsellor's Office - ACOUNS Ens(sg) Regan Alessi - 1351) =/\=I was aware of your presence at the meeting, Miss. Alessi - Which is why i didnt communicate with you Via the COMM. 1500 sounds fine=/\= "Very well," Regan responded, making a note in her appointments list."My office, 1500. Please don't be late, I have a busy afternoon scheduled." =/\=I will see you then, Physioc Out=/\= Once the connection was cut, Regan sighed. Since Ashliu had murdered the father of Regan's son in cold blood, she knew that she would have had a valid reason to pass him off to Riven. But Riven was completely occupied with Captain Winters, and in any case, Regan had promised him that she would treat Ashlitu Physioc as she would any other member of crew. Which meant that since he had requested an appointment with her specifically, she could not just shunt him off. So she was stuck with him. No doubt it would be an 'interesting' meeting. ~What a day this is turning out to be.~ She thought about the meeting and the events there, and frowned as she considered the behaviour of the CMO. Saleke's decision to order her to leave had not surprised Regan; the woman's behaviour had indeed been far below that expected of any Starfleet officer, much less a head of department. Regan hadn't had much to do with Dr Trommashere so far so she couldn't really guess whether this was normal or abnormal behaviour for her. She could only assume it was abnormal; she couldn't imagine for a moment that anyone who behaved like that on a regular basis would remain for long in a position of responsibility. ~Perhaps the stress of the last few days has got to her?~ But whatever the case it was up to Commander Saleke to deal with it. For a moment she considered messaging the Commander and asking him if he wanted her to make an assessment of the CMO, then dismissed the idea. If the Commander decided that was necessary, then he would request it. She had every confidence in him to make the right decision. With a sigh she glanced at the time and stood up. Just about enough time to grab something to eat in Ten Forward before her next appointment, if she hurried. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
