Stardate: 2406.11.10 (USS Spectre – Sickbay – CMO - Williams – 1706) Andrew was happy at Warren's reply and left him to carry on. he swiped a PADD from a trolley and wandered over to the dispensary. ~Don't want to run out of anything while we are out and about~ He made an inventory of every thing that they needed and then began checking the equipment on the sickbay trolleys. =^=Ensign Banowsky to Sickbay=^= ~Ah something more interesting to do.~ Andrew put down the tricorder that he was recalibrating and tapped his commbadge in reply. "Sickbay here Dr Williams speaking what can I do for you Mr Banowsky?" =^=I'm trying to compile a list of things that we still need to get from Geneva. What is the status of sickbay's supplies and personnel.=^= ~Oh well could be worse~ "I've made an inventory on everything that we need at the moment. I'll transfer it to your location." He quickly transferred the PADD information to the computer. =^=Alright, is there anything else you might need?=^= Andrew looked around the empty Sickbay. Warren must have found something more interesting to do. "You could bring me some patients. It's like working in the morgue." (reply Banowsky) Andrew grinned to him self. "Thanks Mr Banowsky. I'll be okay. I've just got to check the surgical theater and I'll be done." Andrew looked around Sickbay again. There were times that he would have killed for the peace and quiet of today. "Better get on with it." He got up and headed for the surgical theater. (Reply Banowsky, Any) (posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre, Counselor's Office, FO, LtCmdr Shane Schofield, 1735) "Lieutenant Command Schofield, I'm going to be blunt. I do not appreciate your behavior at the moment. I know you don't like 'these things', quite frankly I don't like 'these things' however, I am bound by the same regulations you are. I'd like you to consider how you'd react if you called me in during the commission of your duty and I walked in and plunked down and told you that we should 'get this over with'. I'm sure you would not only be most displeased, but possibly quite annoyed. I believe that I have the right to expect some measure of respect when I'm doing the job mandated to me by Starfleet and our captain. I also submit, that you are a role model to the other junior officers on this ship, or at least you should be. I do not desire for any of these sessions to be hostile, but I will not allow anyone to get in the way of the commission of my duty. This is a sentiment which I'm sure you understand." Shane sighed heavily. "I apologize Counsellor. Its been a tiring last few days for me, what with traveling here from the Paladin, getting to grips with a new ship and crew as well as new responsibilities." "I'll cut to the chase, Sir. When it comes right down to it, you were involved with an event that was rather traumatic to say the least. If you were in my shoes, or command's shoes to be more to the point, you'd want to make sure that one of the best officers in Starfleet was 'mending' properly afterwards. Now, how have you been sleeping, have you been having any flashbacks or other after effects since the Sovereign incident?" asked Divon pointedly. Shane winced at the mention of what they were now terming 'the Sovereign incident'. While serving as ACSO on the USS Paladin Shane had led a boarding party to capture a Sovereign-class starship loyal to Admiral Doenitz. All the while he had been sitting at the helm of the captured vessel he had felt uncomfortable. A growing wetness had spread across the seat of his pants. Shane feared he had wet himself with excitement or fear, most probably both he told himself, but when he looked down at the seat he saw to his horror that he had actually been sitting in a pool of blood. Shane had hurriedly made his way into the Captain's Ready Room, found the small bathroom there and promptly relieved himself of his last meal. "Yes, I have been having flashbacks every now and then about the incident but thankfully the nightmares are becoming less frequent. I am still having a little difficulty in actually getting off to sleep but when I do the nightmares are now few and far between." (Reply from Couns, Any) (Posted by Andrew Brannigan) (USS Spectre, Counsellor's Office, COUNS,Ensign {SG} Divon Lronen, 1738) Divon could clearly see he hit a sensitive spot. It was hardly surprising. The Lieutenant Commander had been through a great deal. His aim was not to torture the man, but few starfleet officers appreciated the idiotically smiling counsellor. Divon had gone to hell and back himself in his last assignment and had learned that most hardened Starfleet officers required a show of strength. "Yes, I have been having flashbacks every now and then about the incident but thankfully the nightmares are becoming less frequent. I am still having a little difficulty in actually getting off to sleep but when I do the nightmares are now few and far between," said Schofield. Divon nodded. He couldn't figure out why every officer felt that their situation was unique when it came to these sorts of problems."The good news is you're responding to a traumatic experience in a way that really is to be expected. I'd be more inclined to think you were unbalanced if you didn't have a negative response to your experiences. The bad news is that short of drugging yourself to sleep, you'll have to suffer through your memories for awhile until you come to terms with them. Again, I prefer to be honest, there is no magic cure except time and talking about it." (Reply Schofield) "Here is the thing Lieutenant Commander, I know that many Starfleet Officers are conditioned to think that they should be strong enough to handle these sorts of events and that counsellors on starships are unnecessary frills. However, truth be told there are very few sentient species in the galaxy that don't have some code of 'thou shalt not kill'. Even the Klingons have a form of this shielded in a code of honor... I suppose theirs is 'thou shalt not kill without reason', but that's hardly the point. Starfleet personnel are put into situations with death and destruction on a daily basis, even more often now. It goes against our personal codes of ethics no matter how hard we try to explain it away. I'm here to help you deal with the feelings that are bound to exist after the fact. I can't 'fix' you, or repair what went wrong. I try to help you to understand your own feelings and learn to cope with them. That's my function. Quite frankly I don't want to 'fix' you as you need to fully experience the emotional impact of your experiences. They are a necessary part of you," stated Divon, "At any rate, counsellors on ships have allowed an overall retention in officers who otherwise were leaving the service after traumatic events or... well, lets just say finding inventive ways to cope with their feelings." (Reply Schofield) "My one true question about this is, do you believe your difficulties aboard the Sovereign will keep you from carrying out your duties in a proper manner? I'm not questioning your abilities or making a statement about them here, I'm simply asking your personal, and honest, opinion," stated Divon with a sympathetic smile. (Reply Schofield) (Posted by Jeff Bergeron) (USS Spectre-Bridge-Ensign Will Banowsky-17.42) "Ensign Banowsky to Sickbay" =^=Sickbay here Dr Williams speaking what can I do for you Mr Banowsky?=^= "I'm trying to compile a list of things that we still need to get from Geneva. I guess I will just let him run a checkup on me if he is that in need of patients.~ =^=thanks Mr Banowsky. I'll be okay. I've just got to check the surgical theater and I'll be done.=^= "Okay." Will said as he put the data given to him from Williams into his list. He then looked at the senior officers and who he had already talked to. He had talked to H'Chir and Williams. He needed to talk to Garry, Lt. Commander Orde, and he would also contact Lt. Commander Schofield to see if there was anything he needed from Geneva. He would then contact the Captain. But he still needed to go through his list. Last time he talked to Garry he had to go to a session with Counselor Lronen, so Will was going to start with Lt. Commander Orde. Will pressed his commbadge. "Ensign Banowsky to Lt. Commander Orde." (reply Orde) "Sorry if I am bothering you sir, I'm compiling a list of materials we still need from Geneva. How are you on personnel or supplies. Is there anything you still need sir?" (reply orde) (posted by Will Banowsky) (USS Spectre-Bridge-Ensign Will Banowsky-18.30) Will had recently been in contact with the Chief Medical Officer, the Chief Engineering Officer, and the Tactical and Security Chief. With Will be the Chief Operations and Conning Officer he had compiled a pretty good list of things that they still needed to get from Geneva. However he felt as if there was something he was forgetting. Maybe someone that he had forgot to contact. Then it hit him. ~GARRY!!!!!!!!!!! I need to contact Garry!~ Will then pressed his commbadge. "Ensign Banowsky to Ensign Ronsworth" (reply Ronsworth) "Sorry if I am interrupting Garry, is there anything else you need from Geneva as far as supplies and personnel are concerned. I am trying to get a list together to send to Geneva so we can get them as soon as possible." (reply Garry) (posted by Will Banowsky) (USS Spectre-Bridge-Ensign Will Banowsky-19.40) Will had been sitting at his station quietly for the last hour or so. He was running diagnostic after diagnostic on all the ships major systems. Was it because he was interested in how the repairs were coming? Yes it was. Was it because he wanted to make sure that the ship was in top condition? Yes it was. Was it also because Will was bored out of his mind and needed something to do? Definitely yes. Will was bored. He would rather have been at the helm flying across the galaxy, but he had decided to do mainly OPS duty while they were at Geneva. Besides there was no reason for him to be at the helm when they were docked at Geneva. However Will was going to make sure he was at the helm when they had pulled out. He had been at the helm when they had left the Mystique, but was at the OPS station when they had arrived at Geneva. Will was going to make sure he was at the helm when they went of on their next mission. He loved piloting, almost as much as he loved football, and law. Of course he also loved his job as the Chief of Operations, and if he had to pick between CONN and OPS he would choose OPS any day. Although he would still beg the captain to at least let him pilot support craft. Will looked up for a brief moment as he saw a crewman come up to relieve him of his post. Will was officially of bridge duty. Of course that meant he was now going to pay a visit to engineering and sickbay. He had previously talked to all the department heads, but he wanted to make sure engineering and sickbay were fine. That and he was happy to do work other then sitting at the OPS station on the bridge. Will would do his "rounds" maybe get a late dinner, and then go to bed. He was starting to feel at home onboard the Spectre, and rightfully so. He treated the ship like someone in the 21st century would treat a sports car. Will was even debating going to shuttle bay 1 and make sure everything was fine in the Evangeline, which had quickly become his favorite of the ships support crafts. As Will got up and was heading to the door, he noticed that the new First Officer was on the bridge. Will was so wrapped up in his diagnostics that he didn't even see him come in. ~Now, did he come in on the 13th diagnostic or the 15th, how many did I do anyways. Oh well, I guess I should introduce myself. He will be bossing me around a lot anyways. It would be good to at least say hello.~ Will then walked over to the first officer and extended his hand. "Sir, I am Ensign Will Banowsky, the Chief Conning and Operations officer aboard the Spectre. I thought I would introduce myself to you before I went on my way." (reply Schofield) "Your name was Schofield right? Well sir, I look forward to working with you over the course of our assignments here on the Spectre, and if there is anything you need just let me now." (reply Schofield) "Take care sir." Will said as he then turned around and headed to the turbolift. His next stop, engineering. (reply Schofield) (posted by Will Banowsky) (USS Spectre-Main Engineering-Ensign Will Banowsky-20.00) Will entered engineering at approximately 20.00 hours. He had told H'Chir he would stop by and he would. He wanted to make sure everything in engineering was in tip top shape. He understood that engineering was H'Chir's concern. That H'Chir was the Chief Engineer, but ever since Will saw the Spectre from the cockpit of the Evangeline, he had fallen in love with it. Besides, as Chief Operations, he had to make sure everything was ok. "Hello," Will said as he stepped out of the turbolift. "Is Ensign H'Chir here?" (reply H'Chir) "Just thought I would come by and see how everything is going, like I said I would. So how are the repairs going, smooth I hope." (reply H'Chir) "All right that is good. I’m glad to hear it. If you need anything else, please feel free to contact me, I want to help the engineering department as much as I possibly can." (reply H'Chir) "Well I'll be going now." Will then turned around and headed back into the turbolift. (posted by Will Banowsky) (USS Spectre, Main Engineering – Ensign H’Chir – 2002) "Is Ensign H'Chir here?" The Andorian lifted his head from the console he was studying long enough to confirm who the new visitor was before turning back to his work. “Oh,” he said, “it’s you.” "Just thought I would come by and see how everything is going, like I said I would. So how are the repairs going, smooth I hope." ~Is there some reason why people keep asking me that?~ Not taking his eyes off the damaged console, H’Chir replied, “Rumors of my incompetence have been grossly exaggerated.” "All right that is good. I’m glad to hear it. If you need anything else, please feel free to contact me, I want to help the engineering department as much as I possibly can." H’Chir turned to face the Operations officer and flashed him a warning smile. “I’ll be sure to keep that in mind.” "Well I'll be going now." As soon as Banowsky was out of sight the smile vanished from H’Chir’s face. “Don’t let the door hit you on the way out,” he growled under his breath. Standing up straight, he barked, “Computer, prepare to lodge a level five proximity alarm. I want to be informed every time Ensign Banowsky approaches within twenty-five meters of Main Engineering. Code to my commbadge. Authorization H’Chir-gamma-gamma-five.” =/\=Proximity alarm confirmed.=/\= (Reply any, none) (Posted by Michael Drake) (USS Spectre-Turbolift-Ensign Will Banowsky-20.03) "Computer deck 3." Will said as he entered the turbolift. He was going to go to sickbay. He knew Dr. Williams wanted a patient, and Will wanted to make sure everything was working ok. Besides, he wanted to get to know his other officers better. He had been hanging around with Garry, and that was fine, but he needed to get to know the rest of the crew. Will had no clue how long he would be on the Spectre. ~Hopefully I will be on board the Spectre longer then the Cochrane and the Mystique, what was it 1 day on the Cochrane, a day and a half on the Mystique. Well its been 4 days or so here on the Spectre, which is good. I'm glad.~ (posted by Will Banowsky) (USS Spectre-Sickbay-Ensign Will Banowsky-20.15) "Hello is the Doctor in." (reply Williams) "I'm Ensign Banowsky the Chief Operations and Conning officer and I came in for a check up, to make sure everything was working fine, both in sickbay and myself." Will said as he extended his hand to the doctor. (reply Williams) (reply H'Chir,Williams) (posted by Will Banowsky) (USS Spectre-Sickbay- CMO - Williams-20.17) "Hello is the Doctor in." Andrew turned from the console that he was looking at. "Yes Ensign, and how can I help you?" "I'm Ensign Banowsky the Chief Operations and Conning officer and I came in for a check up, to make sure everything was working fine, both in sickbay and myself." Will said as he extended his hand to the doctor. Andrew shook Will's hand and smiled. "It is nice to finally get to meet you. Every thing is under control here. there has been nothing new that I needed. If you could hop onto the bio-bed I'll give you the once over." He ushered Will to the bio bed. "Are there any aches or pains at the moment? Any nausea or feeling unwell?" He picked up a tricorder and began scanning. (reply Will) (reply by Will) (posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre-Sickbay-Ensign Will Banowsky-20.19) "Are there any aches or pains at the moment? Any nausea or feeling unwell?" Will looked at the doctor and smiled. "Honestly Dr. I am as healthy as I have ever been. Only reason I came down was because you asked for patients. Because of that I decided that I might as well give you one. We don't want a disgruntled doctor on board now do we? " (reply Williams) "So, anyway, how am I looking, healthy, not healthy. I'm positive I'm in good health. I rarely get sick" (reply Williams) (posted by Will Banowsky) (USS Spectre-Sickbay- CMO - Williams -20.21) "Honestly Dr. I am as healthy as I have ever been. Only reason I came down was because you asked for patients. Because of that I decided that I might as well give you one. We don't want a disgruntled doctor on board now do we? " Andrew grinned. "No that would not be good. I do appreciate you coming down. I know that its quiet but I better not wish to hard for something to do or I'll be inundated with space sickness or something." "So, anyways, how am I looking, healthy, not healthy. I'm positive I'm in good health. I rarely get sick" "Your fine. I can't see anything wrong. I was wondering if you had any idea what were doing. As I've been in sickbay since we docked I've not been able to get any idea about what's going on." (reply Banowsky) (reply Banowsky) (posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre-Sickbay-Ensign Will Banowsky-20.23) "Your fine. I can't see anything wrong. I was wondering if you had any idea what were doing. As I've been in sickbay since we docked I've not been able to get any idea about what's going on." Will got of the table and looked at the doctor. "You haven't missed much. Nothing but repairs going on. Nothing fabulous or fun. Just your average repairs going on. I spent most my day running system diagnostics." (reply Williams) "Well doctor, I'd like to thank you, its good to know that I am in good health. I'm going on my way now. If you need anything let me know." (reply Williams) Will then turned around and headed out the door. He didn't know what he was going to do now. However he was very happy he was healthy, physically anyways. There was still the problem with him needing counseling sessions. But it wasn't bothering him anymore. (reply Williams) (posted by Will Banowsky) (USS Spectre, Deck 15, Jeffries Tube – Ensign H’Chir – 2146) It had taken twenty minutes of wading through the ship’s schematics, and a further five minutes’ crawling through Jeffries tubes, but H’Chir was finally stood within the junction node. It was a space no bigger than two meters squared, but the Andorian took his time surveying each wall, allowing the sense of closeness and confinement to enter his consciousness. “Yes… This will do…” (posted by Michael Drake) (USS Spectre, CEO’s Quarters – Ensign H’Chir – 2214) On returning to his quarter’s H’Chir had showered and was now relaxing, sprawled out with a small pile of PADDs to either side of him. “Chief Engineer’s personal log, stardate 2406.11.10. “I thought when we left the Mystique that Starfleet had finally handed me an engine room of my own. No more passing myself off as a third engineer. No more submitting to outside ideas. No more being the outsider… “But no. It seems that on this ship, everyone wants to be an engineer!” H’Chir marked his signature on a systems module manifest and began reading through the fuel consumption reports. “I never realized it was so trendy. “Starfleet’s landed me with that damned woman still. Her ideas are a bit eccentric but… Well… If she weren’t playing about with *my* engines, then I might… I don’t know. “Unfortunately Starfleet doesn’t seem about to grant me that wish, and in the meantime I’m stuck with a woman who doesn’t follow procedure, doesn’t even seem to recognize who I am half the time, and… Damn her! She insists on wearing the most… Bizarre clothing!” Taking a sip of his drink, the Andorian continued, “At least I have the satisfaction of knowing that she doesn’t want to be here any more than I want her here. Unlike a certain Operations officer who seems to have taken it upon himself to ensure that every minute detail onboard is running to his satisfaction. “The arrogance of the man! He’s only an ensign, but he pokes his nose into the running of my engine room - *my* engine room – as though on a personal crusade to… to… “I’ve rigged a proximity alarm to warn me when he’s approaching Engineering. I might not be able to keep him out, but at least this way maybe I can… prepare…” His voice lowered now to a conspiratorial whisper, “or escape.” (Reply none) (Posted by Michael Drake) Stardate: 2406.11.11 (USS Spectre, Ready Room, CO, Captain Remae Ktell-06.30) Remae had been up early, he wasn't sure what time he'd gotten to sleep but it looked like he'd spent the night on the Ready Room couch. Not for the first time. He'd read and re-read the files that LoDona had given him, the reasons behind his demotion, transfer were becoming clearer. There was a message from the night shift that caught his eye, the phaser upgrade was complete. That meant they could test the tactical array and the cloak and proceed on their mission. (posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre, Ready Room, CO, Captain Remae Ktell-06.55) The Bajoran had used the en-suite bathroom in his Ready Room to change, shower and order some light breakfast. Starfleet had obviously noticed the amount of time that Captains spend in their Ready Rooms; days even weeks weren't unheard of. The door chime activated. ~ Ah, the FO ~ Remae was eager to get to know his Executive Officer's abilities as fast as possible. "Come", said Remae now in a clean uniform although the room looked a bit of a mess, it would have to do."Mr Schofield, please have a seat, thanks for coming so promptly." (Reply from Shane) "I've had a meeting with the Admiral and we've received our orders. We're to proceed to Sector 24613 and towards a Class Y Star, where, unusual sensors readings could indicate a ship or ships in the area, we've been ordered to sneak in and have a good look around." (Reply from Shane) "You've heard of a Class Y planet, they are rare but they are nasty, the Class Y star is the same only 1000s of times worse, sensors will be useless until we get close." Remae handed a PADD to the First Officer. "The Engineering Teams at Geneva have repaired the ship, replaced the phasers and I've scheduled a departure of the ship at 10.00, where we'll warp out a few light years and play, 'Hunt the Banowsky'." Remae smiled before continuing,"We'll test the phasers, the cloak and some of the other vital systems. If all goes well, we'll have an Officer Briefing and I'll explain the orders and set some of the tasks we'll need to get done before arrival." (Reply from Shane) "Commander, prepare the Tactical Test, get Ensign Banowsky up to speed, alert Mr Orde and you two can design the game we'll play to test the Spectre. Ill talk to Engineering and make sure the cloak and everything else is prepared.Remae was done for now but he gave the FO a chance to ask any questions. (Reply from Shane) "Any questions, Commander?" (Reply from Shane) "Carry on." Remae returned to his computer terminal after the Commander had left then, he too stood up and left the Ready Room. (Reply from Schofield, Any) (Posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre, Main Engineering, CO, Captain Remae Ktell - 07.30) Engineering was very different than his previous visit, people were everyone, crew assigned to various consoles, parts of the core were open and obviously it was offline. Remae spotted H'Chir and walked over to the Andorian. "Ensign, I won't bother you for more than a moment, how's the core?", asked the CO, learning against the railing and looking down the pit to the bottom of the core many decks below and then up again, the top of the core, several decks above. (Reply from H'Chir) "Very well, the Cloaking Device, what's the status?" (Reply from H'Chir) "I need it online by 12.00 hours, Chief, use whatever resources or personnel you need.", said Remae leaving the CEO to his work, the last thing the blue skinned Engineering Officer needed was him in the way. (Reply from H'Chir) Remae headed for the nearest lift and set off on his next destination. (posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre, Main Engineering – Ensign H’Chir – 0731) "Ensign, I won't bother you for more than a moment, how's the core?" “It’s… offline, sir. We’re replacing the Ma’am injectors. Shouldn’t take more than a couple of hours before we can run the diagnostics and run the pre-start sequences.” "Very well, the Cloaking Device, what's the status?" “That one could take a little longer… The induction coils have fused and I’m getting some odd resonance traces from the main power couplings.” "I need it online by 12.00 hours, Chief, use whatever resources or personnel you need." Something about the Captain’s tone made it clear that this was no idle request. Seeing little sense in wasting time enquiring after information he didn’t yet need to know, H’Chir could only say “Yes, sir.” (Reply any, none) (Posted by Michael Drake) (USS Spectre, Main Engineering – Ensign H’Chir – 0752) H’Chir stood on deck 13, listing to the angry sound of their malfunctioning cloaking device. ~”I need it online by 12.00 hours, Chief, use whatever resources or personnel you need."~ The words came back to him now, and it was with an odd mix of satisfaction and frustration that the Andorian tapped his commbadge. “Engineering to Ensign Banowsky.” (Reply if desired) “Ensign, the captain has ordered me to have the cloaking device ready by 12.00 hours. I was told to make use of any resource or personnel necessary.” He paused for a moment, dreading the answer to his next question. “Who do you have with experience on phase-cloaks?” (Reply Banowsky, any) (Posted by Michael Drake) (USS Spectre-Personal Quarters-Ensign Will Banowsky-07.53) Will had exited his shower and began to get dressed. He had gotten an early morning workout and he was feeling nice and ready to go. His uniform had already been laid out, and he quickly got dressed. Does anyone up there have any experience with these things?” (Reply Ronsworth, Banowsky, any) (Posted by Michael Drake) (USS Spectre, Sickbay, CO, Captain Remae Ktell - 08.00) Sickbay was mercifully empty of the sick but Remae spotted the CMO in the corner office. The Bajoran hurried over to make sure Lt Williams had what he needed. "Lt Williams, all set for departure?", asked Remae assuming the FO had told the entire crew by now. (Reply from Williams) "Anything else you need from Geneva? It could be many months before we get a chance to return.", asked Remae, knowing full well that the FO and the CMO would have made sure, however, it never hurt to show his face. (Reply from Williams) "If you need anything, let me know.", said Remae walking out just as someone was brought in. "Doctor, looks like we have a case of space sickness.", said the Ensign who had brought the Crewman in and Remae looked over with an apologetic face as the doors closed behind him. With the amount of green crewmen around, Remae was surprised that the decks weren’t suffering from a larger case of space sickness. ~ Give it time ~ (Posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre, Sickbay, CMO, Williams-08.05) ~The enemy ship's guns were brought to bear and fired. the mighty ship staggered as the armored shells bit deep into its hull.~ "Lt Williams, all set for departure?", Andrew looked up from the PADD he was scanning. He saw Remae standing in front of him. ~Oh crap better get on the ball~ "Aye Skipper I mean Captain, every thing is ready as it will be." "Anything else you need from Geneva? It could be many months before we get a chance to return.", asked Remae, Andrew through for a moment running through all the supplies that they had received. "No Captain I don't think there is anything else that we need." "If you need anything, let me know.", said Remae As Remae exited sickbay, Andrew saw an ensign carry a crewman into sickbay. "Doctor, looks like we have a case of space sickness.", said the Ensign. ~Great lots of vomit all over the floor. I did ask for some thing to do~ Andrew nodded. "Okay Ensign put him on the bio-bed I'll be there in a moment." He got up from behind the desk and went over to a nearby trolley. he grabbed a hypospray and filled it with an anti sickness vile. "This should help." He crossed over to the crewman and injected the hypospray into his neck. he looked over at the ensign. "He will be okay. You can get back to your duties." He turned back to the crewman. "I'll keep you here for a little bit until the space sickness settles, don't want you throwing up all over the ship now do we." With that he turned and headed back to the PADD. ~Now where was I, oh yes the gun fire. ~ (reply any) (posted by Robbie) (USS Spectre, Science Lab 1, CO, Captain Remae Ktell - 08.30) "Mr Ronsworth.", said Remae walking into the main lab. The Acting Chief Science Officer was in the corner, working hard. (Reply from Ronsworth) "Ensign, I need you to start working on some probes for me, I need you to increase their range and sensor bandwidth, to as high as you can. We'll need a few of them on the next mission.", said Remae. (Reply from Ronsworth) "I can't go into too much detail at the moment but when we are ready to depart for our mission, there will be a full briefing for the senior staff." (Reply from Ronsworth) "Carry on Ensign.", said Remae walking back out again of the Science Lab. It felt good to the Bajoran to know the faces of his new officers, he'd be depending on them soon enough. Remae looked at a nearby clock and sighed heavily, looks like he wasn't going to be able to avoid the next visit he had to make any longer. (Reply from H'Chir, Williams, Ronsworth, Any) (Posted by Anthony Keen) (USS Spectre-Turbolift-Ensign(jg) Grant Archie-09.00) Grant was standing nervously in the turbo lift. He had graduated from the Academy this year, and the Spectre was his first assignment. He was eager and very excited. He couldn't wait to meet the captain and he couldn't wait to get to engineering. He knew that the Spectre that a phase-cloak, and that is what intrigued him the most about the ship. It was just his luck, that he loved cloaking devices and that he was placed on this ship. He was excited. He was also nervous. Grant wasn't the very best when it came to social interaction. He began to worry even more, when the turbo lift came to a stop. He was almost there. (Posted by Will Banowsky) (USS Spectre-Ready Room-Ensign(jg) Grant Archie-09.05) Grant pressed the chime to enter the ready room, and when the doors opened he entered the room and stood at attention. "Sir, captain, sir, I..um, Ensign...Junior Grade Archie...um Grant Archie reporting for duty, um sir." he said, albeit awkwardly. (reply Ktell) "I've been stationed on board sir, umm, I am an um engineering officer sir. Umm, I ummm, here for my assignment sir. What do I need to do?" Grant was very nervous at this point.
