History, Education and Skills
Family and Background :

A Daughter of the Seventh House (House of Courage). Kit's parents were both Starfleet officers and Regan benefited from an early life spent travelling with her parents. She developed her Betazoid abilities unusually early, and consequently was taken back to Betazed to live with her grandmother whilst receiving the necessary training to harness her abilities, as well as induction in the Telepathic Moral Laws. Although her telepathic abilities are very high, Kit showed no other signs of genius and consequently had to work hard to achieve the high academic results that she wanted. Once she had established sufficient control over her abilities to satisfy her teachers, Kit spent most of her holidays with her parents and consequently grew up as a 'Starfleet brat'. At 23, she decided to follow her parents into Starfleet, and chose to specialise in Operations, which came as a surprise to her parents, both of whom work as counsellors.

Education

:

Educated largely on Betazed, though also partly on Starfleet vessels until the time came for her to go to university, where she read Computer Science and Psychology, graduating with joint honours.

Pre-Starfleet History

:

Entered Starfleet directly after graduating.

Starfleet History

:

Four years at Starfleet Academy, specialising in Operations and programming. Since graduating she has served on one ship prior to the Dennison, the USS Star of Samarkand, a sovereign-class vessel loyal to Doenitz. Kit's own feelings on the war and her parents internment by Doenitz loyalists for the duration, she has not shared.

Medical History

:

Nothing of note.

Skills

:

High telepathic ability, coupled with a very well-developed ability to block telepathic communication or reading from others. Follows the Telepathic Moral Laws to the letter, and despises those who abuse their abilities. Extremely skilled computer programmer. (Denies she was 'the hacker of class 47')

Other Information
Hobbies :

Card games with friends; writing computer and holodeck programs. Likes to relax with friends over a good meal, particularly if there is a good wine to accompany it.

General Notes

:

Works hard, plays hard. Kit has been described as a martinet at work and a good companion off duty. She keeps work and play rigidly separate, although she can get on well with almost anyone on a social level. She has a slightly quirky sense of humour and often finds things amusing which others don't, although she rarely lets this show whilst on duty. A bit of a sticker for regulations, which she believes are there for a purpose, she has been known to bend them on the odd occasion when the situation warranted it.

Awards :

Admiral Bell threw her arms around the Ensign, "You don't have to be scared anymore, you don't have to be guilty anymore, you are not responsible for what that madman did to you.", she said to her quietly and for a moment longer, releasing her from the embrace. "It's going to take time, its going to be a toll... I will be right here, and I am not going anywhere."
