Engtamn has his doctorate in shield, energy and warp technologies from the Hoi Polloi Institute on Grazer. Although he is more than capable in all branches of physics and energy technology he refuses to work on weapons and weapon systems due to his species abhorrence of violence. Engtamn has been working on harnessing dark matter and dark anti-matter as an energy source and using it in conjunction with warp technology. He believes it possible to break the Warp 10 threshold.

FAMILY AND BACKGROUND

Engtamn is close to his family, which encompasses a huge line of individuals. He is one of quintuplets, multiple births being normal among his race. His siblings all reside on Grazer, he being the only one brave enough to leave the safety of his planet.

PRE-STARFLEET HISTORY

Engtamn has his doctorate in shield, energy and warp technologies from the Hoi Polloi Institute on Grazer. He preformed well in school and was inspired to leave his family and planet to go to the stars by the success UFP President Jaresh-Inyo (2372) a Grazerite.

STARFLEET HISTORY

Engtamn was brought into Starfleet due to his scientific expertise. He has completed the requirements to be commissioned an officer although he has not attempted nor completed command courses. He served on the science vessel, USS Pasteur.

SKILLS AND ABILITIES

RECREATIONAL INTERESTS

Engtamn enjoys watching plays, old cinema from various cultures and musical performances. He can play a horn like instrument from his culture but tends not to play in front of others. Engtamn will enjoy spending time with one or two people at a time, discussing a variety of topics quietly over non-alcoholic drinks or dinner. As long as the recreation is non-violent it generally pleases him.
