Battle of Andoria (2407)

Andoria paid a heavy price in defiance of Admiral Doenitz during the Federation Civil War. The planet was razed by Doenitz's forces as punishment for their resistance. This battle was part of Doenitz's campaign against core Federation worlds, which also included attacks on Betazed, Vulcan, and Tellar.

The destruction of Andoria was a devastating blow to the Federation and demonstrated the brutality of Doenitz's regime. The Andorians had already departed the Federation in 2418, but this battle occurred during the civil war period.

Battle of System 663 (2406-2407)

The Battle of System 663 was fought during the Federation Civil War, resulting in a Pyrrhic victory for the 52nd Fleet. Then Lieutenant Commander Edward Wolfe served as Strategic Operations Officer during this battle. The engagement was one of the major conflicts between LoDona's forces and Doenitz's regime.

Battle for the Mars Defence Perimeter (2407)

The Battle for the Mars Defence Perimeter was the decisive engagement of the Federation Civil War. The ships of the 52nd Fleet and their Klingon allies massed for an attack on the MDP, which was controlled by Doenitz's forces.

During the battle, the USS Nimitz and USS Champlain were destroyed. The USS Boudicca successfully breached the defenses of Starbase Valhalla, bringing down the defense stations. The 52nd Fleet was victorious, and Admiral Doenitz fled but was later arrested and imprisoned.

This battle marked the end of the Federation Civil War and the beginning of the rebuilding period.

Battle Near Starbase Geneva (2406)

One of the largest battles of the early civil war period was fought near Starbase Geneva. This engagement resulted in the destruction of a dozen ships and the capture of several others. The battle was looked upon favorably by the Klingons, leading to Ambassador Miador Tane being sent to Qo'Nos for negotiations.

The Klingon Empire officially declared war on Admiral Doenitz's regime following this battle and joined Admiral LoDona in his crusade.

Attack on Betazed (2407)

During Doenitz's campaign against core Federation worlds, Betazed was attacked. The USS Spectre mounted an away team mission on Betazed under Captain Remae K'Tell to retrieve Debora Ansara, the niece of Admiral Rodrigo Doenitz. The mission was successful, but Captain Remae suffered an accident resulting in the loss of his lower limbs.

Dominion War (2381-2383)

The Dominion burst through the Bajoran wormhole in 2381 and destroyed Deep Space Nine. They also successfully took over Bajor. A Federation counterattack failed, and DS9 survivors were reassigned to new posts.

After 11 months of conflict, the Dominion was sent back through the wormhole. The USS Titan stayed in orbit of Bajor in case of a new offensive, and a new Starbase (Starbase 968) began construction at the wormhole entrance.

Gul Dulon Rebellion (2404)

Cardassian criminal Gul Dulon led a rebellion on Cardassia in 2404. The Cardassians attacked and occupied Starbase 968. Starbase 45 was destroyed by Captain Julius Phelps, whose mind was under the control of Gul Dulon, who also possessed a trilithium weapon.

Dulon's plan to destroy Earth's star was averted at the cost of the USS Titan and the star Proxima Centauri, with great loss of life and environmental devastation on the inhabited worlds of the Centauri system.

Borg Incursions

The Borg have made several attempts to assimilate Federation space throughout history. In 2401, the Borg began assimilation of the Gamma Quadrant through a wormhole connection to the Delta Quadrant. The Borg Collective also made a final attempt to assimilate the Federation through a temporal anomaly, which was ultimately defeated.
