Starfleet Academy History

Starfleet Academy has been the primary training institution for Starfleet officers throughout Federation history. This page provides an overview of the Academy's role in Star Trek: Freedom.

Founding and Early History

Starfleet Academy was established as part of the United Federation of Planets in 2161. Located in San Francisco, Earth, the Academy has trained generations of Starfleet officers in the principles of exploration, diplomacy, and service to the Federation.

The Academy's motto, "Ex Astris, Scientia" (From the Stars, Knowledge), reflects its mission to prepare officers for the challenges of space exploration and interstellar relations.

Academy in Star Trek: Freedom

In Star Trek: Freedom, Starfleet Academy serves as the training ground for new players entering the game. Cadets learn the basics of PBeM gaming, character creation, and how to participate in the game's collaborative storytelling.

Graduation and Assignment
