USS Gannicus

STATUS: Decommissioned CLASS: Sovereign-class (modified)

The USS Gannicus represents a refined take on the Sovereign-class line. Its design combined decades of Advanced Starship Design Bureau research into a sleeker, more tolerant warp-field profile capable of higher cruising velocities. Following the Borg incident, production timelines were accelerated from a projected 10-year build cycle to roughly five years, making the Gannicus a key example of rapid-response Starfleet engineering. Archive compiles span from 2006 through 2016, including the AWLSHGA, A Day on the Job, and Good Intentions series.

"Mil rushed his way to the office. Nodding at Lt Dodge and Ensign Nobel as he entered. He grabbed a few Padds and started reading them. Stopping in the door to the office he turned to Lt Dodge. "Tristan, looking at the scans Dr Nobels ankle is getting better, can we strap him up and assign him to Sickbay?" He looked at Tristan and then across to Nobel."

"Casely considered that for a moment. "Mr. Thlax, who would you trust to run the bridge in my absence if I took you wtih me? I think you'd best stay here. Who would you suggest as loyal and strong enough to go with me to the Nimitz?" asked Paul. Paul nodded, "Monitor communications between ships and try get into the Nimitz instraship communications as well. If you can find officers who might be..."

"2 hours after his shift ended he finally was able to make it to his quiet and relaxing quarters. Once inside he kept the lights off, he had been blinded After the shower, Jaret returned to the cozy living room wearing nothing but his skivvies. He layed upon the couch and grabbed a couch pillow and placed it under his head. "Computer, play random songs from personal playlist at level 4."

USS Mithrandir ⚔

STATUS: Decommissioned after Hostilities CLASS: Nova-class

Attacked during a diplomatic mission in 2406. Her crew was offloaded but later regained control of the vessel to limp back to Geneva with heavy casualties. Later replaced by USS Mithrandir-A.

"Olorin took a swig from his flask and replaced it in his coat. They had only just arrived and already he was getting a sinking feeling in the pit of his belly. And while he had ignored that feeling in the past, his experience told him that it could mean two things. Either things were not going to go as smoothly as one would wish, not smoothly at all or he would require a very good dinner tonight."

"Huor woke up on a bed in what seemed to be the alien ship's medical ward. After their encounter yesterday, Huor wasn't sure what to expect, but it seemed to him that things were more or less business as usual. However, there was one change that he noticed. The meaningless chatter they had used to communicate with each other seemed to make sense now."

— Compiled by Calvin Capps, USS Paladin, 2025

USS Champlain ⚔

STATUS: Destroyed at Mars Defense Perimeter

Destroyed during the Battle for the Mars Defense Perimeter in 2407, along with the USS Nimitz. The loss of life was horrendous, but the 52nd Fleet was ultimately victorious.

USS Dennison

STATUS: Mothballed

All but destroyed by what is believed to be a rogue SFI vessel in 2408. The ship was mothballed pending repairs and her crew was reassigned to the Nova-class USS Mithrandir-A.

"Healer in the Tower Ben entered the counselor's office for the second time that day. He hoped that Lt. Alosar could help him find some of the answers he was looking for. After all he had offered to help Ben find out what had happened to his parents. Ben thought back to what the Vulcan had said at their last meeting "....knowing the full truth would not change anything about how you ... feel."

— Healer In The Tower, USS Dennison, 2019

USS Rosenante ⚔

STATUS: Decommissioned CLASS: Privateer

A controversial privateer ship designed under the Chimera Directive for the Doenitz regime. Represents one of the darkest chapters of the civil war period, involving ships specifically designed to operate outside normal Starfleet regulations.

"Diara had watched with a keen interest as the obvious leader here had asked the Cardassian captain about the payment from Trang. The name of the Klingon Ambassador had immediately caught her attention. USS Illuminar

STATUS: Decommissioned

The USS Illuminar stands as one of the most prolific vessels in the archive with 109 documented compiles spanning 25 months of continuous deep space operations (2420-2422). The ship confronted phenomena ranging from Q entities to mirror universe incursions to the philosophical mysteries of "The Uncaring Stars." Her crew's encounters with corruption, parallel realities, and existential threats demonstrated exceptional scientific and tactical capabilities. The Illuminar's final mission, "An End and A Beginning," marked not just her decommissioning but the close of an era of intensive scientific exploration.

"It had been only minutes from the time Sekal had begun reading the reports concerning the shuttlecraft performance tests when his command team began arriving. Carson Peters entered unobtrusively and took a seat followed closely by Sienna. "Good morning Sir. I heard Luma's song as I was hurrying back from UP. May I get some coffee from the replicator before we begin?"

— The Root of Decay, USS Illuminar, 2021

USS Exeter

STATUS: Decommissioned

A workhorse of the reconstruction era, the USS Exeter compiled an impressive record with 75 documented missions over 14 months of continuous operation (2420-2421). The ship's investigative prowess was demonstrated during the famous "Murder on the Exeter Express" case - a six-month operation spanning 24 compiles that became legendary in Starfleet Academy case studies. The Exeter also handled dimensional crossover incidents and pursued zealots in "The Flames of Purity" mission, showcasing versatility across investigation, first contact, and tactical scenarios.

"Walking into the bar, Erin took a deep breath. After trying to relax in the leisure area, she still felt tense. ~I suppose most of the crew do. It's the fact we can't do anything to help our crew mates that's doing it.~ she thought to herself as she sat down heavily at the bar, dropping her PADD on the bar top."

— The Flames of Purity, Day 15, 16, USS Exeter, 2021

USS Soval

STATUS: Decommissioned

A vessel that confronted difficult moral choices during the rebuilding period. The Soval's year-long "Lesser Evil" mission (2414-2415) represented one of the fleet's most challenging ethical operations in the post-civil war era. With 22 documented compiles spanning multiple years, the ship maintained consistent operations through complex moral and tactical scenarios, demonstrating the kind of nuanced decision-making required during the Federation's reconstruction period.

"Lieutenant stepped off of the medical starship that doubled as a transport ship for him. He was absolutely ready to get off the damn thing. He hated hospitals and the medical ship was one big hospital to him. Mostly he had stayed inside of the small and cramped quarters that were assigned to him. He felt like a lowly Ensign once again crammed in a room like a can of"

— The Lesser Evil, USS Soval, 2019

USS Mystique ⚔

STATUS: Decommissioned

An enigmatic vessel that operated during the tense pre-civil war period of 2406. The Mystique's intensive operational tempo is evidenced by 37 compiles in a single year, including the cryptic "All We Like Sheep Have Gone Astray" mission arc and mysterious "Harvest" operations that produced four compiles in a single day. The ship's name proved prophetic, as its missions often involved operations requiring discretion and specialized crew capabilities, including Betazoid telepaths who could navigate the complex political landscape of the era.

USS Firebrande

STATUS: Decommissioned

One of the original vessels of the 52nd Fleet, the Firebrande served during the early integration period when the fleet was still establishing its multi-species operational doctrine. The ship's diverse crew roster included Klingon warriors from noble houses serving alongside Betazoid empaths and Human officers - a microcosm of the Federation's inclusive ideals. Though complete mission records have been lost to time, personnel files suggest the Firebrande specialized in cultural exchange and first contact scenarios where its unique crew composition proved invaluable.

"Remae was enjoying a nice cup of tea when. "I'm sorry to disturb you captain but I wanted to thank you again, it's a real chance for me to be in Starfleet again." Remae looked up and it was the new Assistant Security Officer. "Have a seat, please, call me Remae, Rick." For a moment, the Bajoran took another sip of tea and then said."

USS Shenandoah

STATUS: Decommissioned

A ghost ship of the archives, the USS Shenandoah exists in fleet records but her complete operational history has been lost to time. Named for the historic Shenandoah Valley, she likely served during the 52nd Fleet's earliest days before digital record-keeping became standard practice. What we know is limited to personnel records and the simple fact that she existed, served, and was eventually retired. Like the valley for which she was named, the Shenandoah represents a quiet strength - ships that did their duty without fanfare, whose crews wrote history in actions rather than words.
